I'v watched 1st episode and it is trash.

Does this anime get darker and more serious in later episodes like Made in Abyss ?!

I'm asking this because I don't want to waste my time on watching slice of life trash.

I just want to know from people who read the manga if it gets darker and more serious

I did not like Made in Abyss early episodes, but it got much better later specially in late 3 episodes. I want to know if this is the same

Dark != Good, the made in abyss early episode were extremely well made, if you're asking this after one episode it's probably not for you.

Jesus fuck, it's clearly slice of life of these forrest fairies not adventure manga with dark elements. It doesn't make it bad, it's different type of story.
Just because you watched potato anime doesn't mean all of new ones also will be full of dark elements or despair.

This is an Iyashikei, not an Made in Abyss show. Adding Seriousness to these type of series ruins the tone of what the series is about, and its purpose.

If you don't like Slice of Life then don't bother to continue to it, I'll say this as a fair warning since I've read the manga of it. So I'm giving this out.

Also why call it "trash" twice? I mean we get it now.

I ask if he even looked at the synopsis, and tags. This isn't like Made in Abyss. Just saying.

And it shouldn't be because it takes away the purpose of the series overall.

First episode come out and make me wonder it is going fine with this kind way to show hakumiko? I honestly more like the manga the best. Or is the wrong choice to read the manga first then the anime, but i already read the manga before the anime released, i hope their goin better(sorry for my bad english)

Why does OP want every anime to cater to the edgelords? Not everything needs to be dark and edgy. I for one almost exclusively watch slice of life shows and consider Non Non Biyori and Tamayura one of the best masterpieces. I for one love what I see so far, this anime is a great slice of life.

Made in Abyss fan here and I think this anime is amazing. Definitely the best fantasy world anime with some cute slice of life of the season. This winter does feel like the slice of life season. I'm assuming you just want more anime with blood, fights, tech, and tits for your taste. Too bad, grow up.

My main beef is that there is no negatives. If you’re that small bugs, birds, cats etc will try to eat you. It’s missing the realism I wanted.

Another MiA fan here. I’ve read 18 chapters of HtM so far and I can say that it doesn’t get darker later on. I can also say that it’s a great series with loveable characters and an interesting world. Since you’re obviously not interested in that kind of stuff, you’d be best off dropping it now.

If you can't figure out that a show like this which tagged Slice of Life will be Slice of Life, and a show like Made in Abyss which is tagged drama, mystery and adventure and NOT Slice of Life are two very different types of shows then you can only blame your own incompetence in researching shows you watch for at least 5-10 seconds.
I probably regret this post by now.
