As FukGoBack already said, Siluca is appearently set to only exist with main character, as everything she is, does, likes, dislikes, and her individuality as a whole were given completely up the moment she said "I want to see what he can do", and even after Theo pulled off a barely decent fight she decided "yep, that's it, I don't need my own character". And one more thing, what the heck is wrong with that Lord that was kicked out? Are we supposed to assume he's a lord just because he's got a mantle? Because he totally looked like any other peasant. Oh, right, generic is the keyword here. Dont watch it then , stop whinning If you don't like my comment don't read it then. You see what's wrong with your statement now? This is a discussion thread, it's meant to discuss, not to praise something just for the sake of it and call everyone that doesn't like it "whining". Thanks, bye. |

| I don't have any idea about this anime I tried to watched the ep1 and all I can say about it are bland, boring, generic and IMO uninteresting girl and boy lead characters. Maybe this kind of show is not suited for me. |
| The episode was almost alright, but one think, rly one think was missing. The epicness was not even near to what its suppose to be. |

| That was... Ok I guess. It's just, it went so fast that I blinked and and they were already partners and taking over some rando's castle. We needed more build up and a more genuine/natural interaction between the two characters. Why did he all of a sudden show up out of nowhere? Why would Siluca make an agreement with some guy out of the blue? She seems a lot smarter than that. All I ask is for more well thought out and believable characters and story. Well, at least Siluca is a babe. |
| ... seriously guys? I thought this was pretty good for a 1st episode. Sorta like Madan no Ou. Characters are pretty fun and game-ish. I like it so far tbh. |

| This guy is the luckiest guy ever xD Like he entered a fight that he didn't need to participate, don't even know how managed to defend the girl and to thank him she spawned a huge monster that would boost his abilities if he killed him, he kills him almost not knowing how xD Later the best girl makes a contract with him and promises to follow him (best one), a few minutes after he already has a castle with people and an old mage by his side with some great knowledge xD This is like playing a game on very easy hahaha Lucky he :D But to be honest, it was a pretty nice start, will definitely continue to watch this. |

| Seems to have moved a little too fast. In one episode we went from: peace breaking down, first battle for MC, formation of a pact, and then taking over of a fief? Adaptations inevitably cut out content but the pacing is a little high for a 2-cour series. Hopefully this is meant to create more time for later, more important scenes. |
| The first episode was bad. When Theo defeats so conveniently the monster, i know it that something is wrong here. Too much information in just the first five minutes. The ending was weird. 2/5 |

| Absolutely every aspect of this bored me. The animation and art are both lackluster. The story did nothing to grip me. I guess A-1 put everyone with a shred of artistic vision on Franxx this season. Mentar said: Amazing how some people manage to completely figure out a character after 1 episode :) Of course it's all BS. Siluca is a fairly multilayered character, as the story will show. It's the show's job to imply that there is more to the story to get us to keep watching it - don't blame viewers for being dissapointed in what was all around a generic opening act. |

| The first ep and a lot after it felt like WTF is going on. Where did this or that come from ? But at least the anime has an ending where some of the stuff that matter come out into to the open. So all's good :) |

HagePotPotato said: entertaining enough. i like that the mage is intelligent, powerful (though we've not actually seen her use much of her power) and a bit of a witty smartass. i much prefer a strong female character like that than one who's obnoxiously shy with an awful, stupid soft high pitched voice, that's subservient and weak though i don't understand how she switched her contract. they made it a point in the carriage to specifically say mage's can't break contracts. and then she entered into a new contract anyways. the lord whose domain they took control over lost his position due to breaking the rules of the mages, and now this mage is seemingly breaking the rules, too. no? her plan is to align with the "enemy" faction, be attacked by all the surrounding territories, and build up the dude's strength quickly that way? that's a little ambitious... well it was also explained that if her contract isn't finalized she can but there is a penalty ambitious indeed :D Siluca comes of as puppet master and the young lord as her puppet (first EP impression) :D |
