 The official website of the Binan Koukou Chikyuu Bouei-bu franchise has opened a teaser page and announced that a new anime series titled Happy Kiss! is in production. Shinji Takamatsu, who directed the previous anime series in the franchise, will return to direct the new anime at Studio Comet. Created by Kurari Umatani, Binan Koukou Chikyuu Boueibu received its first anime series in Winter 2015 by Diomedea. Studio Comet produced a second season in Summer 2016 and an OVA episode that screened in theaters in August 2017. Ponycan USA licensed the anime series for North American distribution and released the first season in Blu-ray and DVD combo packs between August and November in 2015. Well I did enjoy few episodes during the first season of Binan Koukou, but I absolutely cannot stand Yamamoto Kazutomi's (Yumoto) voice and could not bring myself to finish the second season, despite liking Atsushi and En. I might try this one out though since it's a new cast? Still don't like the character designs though. |

| This is totally unexpected news but I'm okay with that! I hope this series is more like the first season because that one was enjoyable. I didn't care for the second season as much (could not stand the twins...). Another show to look forward to, yay! |

| Was wondering what they were going to do with the third years graduated, but they're starting an alternate version instead, hopefully it'll be just as funny, if not better. Since they're wearing the same uniforms, can we expect to see cameos from the originals, I don't think they'd completely push them aside, unless this is 2 years after the third years graduate. |

| The first season was decently enjoyable, the second not so much, and now we have a new cast which I don't find likable from the looks alone... well, I'll check it out because I like the idea of magical boys in any case. |
