Seiyuu Yuu Kobayashi has announced her marriage via Twitter on Friday. She writes that she will continue to work as a voice actress and to keep improving herself. She also mentions that her husband is unrelated to the industry.

Kobayashi has voiced many characters, but most notably Sasha Blouse from the Shingeki no Kyojin series, Nice Holystone from Baccano, Ayame Sarutobi from the Gintama series, Clain Necran from Fractale, Setsuna Sakurazaki from the Mahou Sensei Negima! series, Sigui from the Queen's Blade series, Katsuragi from the Senran Kagura series, and Mahiru Koizumi from the Danganronpa 3: The End of Kibougamine Gakuen series. She is also well known for having a unique drawing style to the extent that the fans call her Gahaku (the great artist).

One of the more beloved seiyuus of the younger gen.

She's just adorable as Sarutobi in Gintama, or Potato Girl in SnK.

Hope she found her right guy and happiness.

HOLY SH*T, just saw on her MAL page that she's 35. I already suspected, but now I'm sure that the fountain of youth is located in Japan.

Personally I have no interest in voice actors outside of their voices. What I will say is that Ruka from Steins;Gate and Mahiru from Danganronpa both have adorable voices.

Nice, it should be like that when they hit their 30s.
Yui Horie, Yukari Tamura, and Rie Kugimiya when?
Their wombs gonna expire you know?

Oh. Of course, Satoshi really seemed like a feminine guy, but I did not think .....

And if without jokes, my congratulations :)

Yes, she is incredibly talented in the roles of gender-ambiguous characters

The fans won't like it if Yui Horie, Yukari Tamura, and Rie Kugimiya get married unless they marry in their 50's. I 'd hate to see Nana Mizuki announce she has a husband, it may have a ripple effect throughout eastern Asia.

I think all of them (including Mizuki Nana) are possibly (?) married. They just know how to hide their personal lives from fans.

And same goes to male seiyuus... Y'all know, no one knew about Kamiya Hiroshi is married and have kids before he caught to media. (or whatever you call)

Nana Mizuki cannot have relationships because of her contract with King Records. It was one of the reasons Yulari Tamura decided to leave to smaller company.

I know what that rule means as a ex Kpop listener, i don't think that contract will stop her having affairs secretly ;D

Well, there're many seiyuu who are above 30 years old more, but they are not married until now, like duo sugita and yuichi, tatsun, takahiro sakurai, kishow, hiroshi mono, and many more.

Same as them (like yui horie, rie kugimiya, yukari tamura, and nana)

So, i don't know what happen in next year if they are not married / married with someone (from another seiyuu or not)

Congrats, daisy from sket dance

And what is the problem if they do not want to marry and have children? How bothers me people who tell others how they have to live their lives.

It would be a shame if she and her husband were about to do it and then he found out......that she's a guy.

In all seriousness, congrats to her!
I'm no special story or anything. I'm just a manga that wants to be read, like you could find anywhere. But, if, for argument's sake, you were to adapt me into an anime series, it would certainly be....a tragedy.

But Yui Horie an Yukari Tamura are already in their 50s. Both are 41 years old.

Well that's a big problem, they didn't experience a family of their own.
Who's gonna take care of her when she got much older? Like when she became forgetful?
Their bloodline gonna stop on her. Which would be a shame if her DNA wasn't past through next generation.
Like you know her children to be can inherent her looks and can also get her talent.
So why you ask? That's pretty much about it when you got or don't have kids.

@ronald_bastian
Men don't expire up until their 70-80s! Unlike women they can only be able to have kids until their 50s! (late 50s?)

She went all-out in episode 270, Gintama. The episode where Sarutobi secretly hides behind a one-way mirror in the washroom to observe Yorozuya. Love her acting there. Remarkable performance. Anyway, congrats on marriage and best wishes for her.

When she is old enough to be unable to depend on herself, she can hire a servant, or simply die. I guess I will not be the only one who thinks so, but there are people who prefer to live only for themselves, and the family is a burden that prevents you from carrying out your personal projects or to have a freer lifestyle.

It's seems to me this is also your choice? Man, you really want to die alone huh?
So the reason why you quoted/replied to my post because it somehow hit you personally?
Well whatever, I don't know you so I don't care what ever you do.

Ai Nonaka also got married earlier this year. Negima's author predicted that Konoka and Setsuna both would get married in 2017, and he was right. LOL
