yuki yuna is a hero watch order

I would watch it in the order it aired. Some of the things in the prequel will ruin things that should be a bit of a surprise if you watch the first series first.

I'm sure an argument could be made to start with the prequel,

My suggestion would be

Yuki Yuna has quickly become my favorite magical girl shows and one of my favorite anime; it has a slow start but i would stick with it if you can. The writing is really good, and some of the directing in the newer episodes is really well done as well.

The three Washio movies are six episodes of Washio TV version and yes they're prequel but I suggest you watch after their sequel. In the aired order.
