| They have the same power level in the end in the manga, but Moka doesn't become a damsel in distress. And you don't have to fear that happening in the anime, since Tsukune never actually fights, except in the final episode of season 2. You could say, that he is the damsel in distress, which is equally bad in my opinion. |

| I guess. Though it didn't bother me because it's a boy, who has to be protected/saved, but because it gets boring very quickly. Well, there are two or three occasions, where Tsukune has to save Moka. But in these cases, the reasons are beyond her control and it serves to showcase Tsukune's growth in strength and combat prowess. After that, it's back to kicking asses for Moka. |

| After reading the summary of this episode on Wikipedia, I would say that it's simply plot convenience. In the manga the events make much more sense. |
