@DROO7 Huh. Now that I read more closely, I think the articles just worded their update in a misleading way. Why would you say "Netflix lists" when you're still just talking about metadata? So I guess it's still just mostly confirmed, not entirely confirmed.

@kta_99 “Netflix metadata lists September 7” is what is being or should be written. Press releases or public site info approved by the company would be considered a true confirmation because we cannot determine the purpose of the metadata, whether it’s just a temporary placeholder or not. What is absolutely official was the announcement by Netflix Colombia for their July 13th release. No other Netflix account or site has publicly mentioned September 7th as far as I’m aware and thus you won’t find it on Netflix pages without digging into hidden metadata. So it’s impossible to say just how “confirmed” it is at the moment. It’s more likely than any other random date, but I doubt Colombia is the only country other than Japan that will end up releasing earlier than 2 months from now.

That's still nice better than HiDive releasing anime 1 episode a week to extend subscriber paid subscription.

@AnonZXM it’s almost certainly going to be a weekly release starting on Sept 7th and ending sometime in December. The Japanese release won’t be finished before it starts everywhere internationally, so there’s pretty much no chance of an immediate full drop.

Can you prove your claim? Can't remember any Netflix licensed title that released it in a weekly dub format if its a delayed release. (Exclude ONA)
Well I don't mind what they will do with it. I can always just binge watch all Subtitle Only Anime after broadcast or when last episode is out.

Guess they really don't care about it. Statically this is the first show to delay it 2 months because they jailed it. (Only for Western Audience)
Well better having a week behind for subtitles than the West having to wait 2 Months for even a Subtitle. (Unless you VPN or Pirate)

@AnonZXM It can’t be proven outside of “simuldub” and “premiere” since Netflix likes to be vague with their announcements, but the main indicator is the release date itself. Netflix won’t release the whole series outside of Japan before it finishes airing in Japan when it already started first there, which a full drop would require since September 7 is before that would happen. The licensing agreement would surely not allow for it, thus it’s logical to assume the delayed international release will be playing catch up. Their licensing partnership with Aniplex was already seen as an oddity, and it seems to have thrown out any established norms. Like Netflix having full control of release schedules to ensure true simuldubs or otherwise waiting until the sub is over to release the entire dub. Probably the only normal thing we can expect is a LA studio.

What our odds for Arknights and Hells Teacher getting dubbed, I know Arknights currently airing it's second season.

Considering the latest dub batch that was only on Crunchyroll was recently added to the Microsoft Store, I really hope that's not a sign that the Microsoft strategy is potentially back on the table.
