WTF did I just watch?

I've seen worse.
The CG was "dated"... the soundtrack was actually pretty decent.
Weird show, that's for sure.

Well this is very... Unique, to say the least. The animation is quite ugly but I somehow like it, it has its own charm and considering how the characters are supposed to be dolls, it kinda works.
Now for the story, it seems pretty interesting so far. We have this sex doll living in a world where there's only machines created by humans who abandoned them, and for some reason this sex doll has been turned into a human capable of transforming other dolls thanks to her kisses...
There seems to be a whole thing about identity, this aspect reminds me of Serial Experiments Lain, just like Malice herself sometimes reminds of Lain.
Overall I don't know where this will go but for now, while it's not a masterpiece I enjoy it, it is quite interesting and has a pretty good atmosphere, it makes me want to watch the rest.

Watching this at 3AM is certainly quite an experience. The early 2000s cgi is eerily creepy but lends itself well to the horror aspect of this.

So far it seem Malice was rape by that one cosmic entity looking thing which in turn turned her into a human.

I got to be honest, I'm only watching this cause Chiaki J. Konaka wrote the script for this, thus that interested me.

That was way too dark - literally. I wonder if the show would've benefited from being made in stop-motion, given that Konaka actually makes real dolls.
