 At the "Deep in Abyss" talk show event on Sunday, a sequel of the Made in Abyss TV anime series was announced. Toshiyuki Morikawa (JoJo no Kimyou na Bouken: Diamond wa Kudakenai) will join the cast as the new character Bondrewd.Made in Abyss adapts the adventure fantasy manga by Akihito Tsukushi that has been serialized in Web Comic Gamma since October 2012, which currently has six compiled volumes in print. Produced by Kinema Citrus, the anime aired in Summer 2017 for 13 episodes. | OH. MY. GOODNESS. All of my yes! The best new series of 2017 gets a sequel (even though they kind of teased it at the end of the last episode). Can't wait to see what Kir- I mean Bondrewd has in store for our heroes. I hope they have enough source material to work with by the time of it's premiere |

Judging from the material it'll likely need about 30 (50 if dragged) to cover fully including the mystery 50 if they want to add plot twist about the bondrewd quotes. I dont want to see the original ending of this masterpiece unless it wanted to run fully 12 + 1(1 hour) or more episodes which probably cover more than 42 chapter (which is the latest on the manga) but it is possible to get the ending because the season 1 end on 26th chapter with following another 26 chapter (52 in total which adds 10 chapter to manga) but that probably rushing it because i dont felt like it'll actually cover everything unless it had more episodes or the 2nd season ended up being a movie. |
