| Erina being rescued by Alice and running from her father really was unexpected. So it looks like Azami's intent on stamping out activities that he considers useless then. And now a new entity that oversee's all cooking thats done on campus as well. The eviction teams sure arrived pretty fast. They sure had high hopes for the first match against Eizan though. So the reason for Eizan's behavior is because he already bought the judges then. After that match i guess its hard not to feel despair. The gang remembering past memories was cute though. It sure was sad seeing the girls cry though seeing the hopeless situation. So Souma went to challenge Eizan despite the odds just like him. Rindo is still as cheerful as always despite the hate she must be getting. So Eizan's plan was to use the threat of violence at the dorm to curtail Yukihira then. This match should be interesting to see. |

| Another fantastic episode. Azami finally establishes Central and tries to strip all the clubs away from Totsuki. Good thing Souma isn't gonna let his dormitory be taken away. Seeing him challenge Eizan to a shokugeki, knowing he's gonna cheat, was great and I can't wait to see their battle play out. Very excited for the next episode. |

| Holy smokes, shit really went down this episode :D The pacing was so good, this episode was jam packed with content! 1st half was a little whelming with the trivialised communism references, there's always that one idiot who'll choose the other side. Can't wait to see that scumbag Eizan get expelled - we all know it's going to happen >:) Really loved the instrumental versions of the OP and ED |

| Might as well remove the shokugeki system entirely then. Why have outright illegal system when you can just remove it? I bet Soma is going to make it so good the judges can;t resist the smell and tries it. Then ends up liking it so much they pick Soma. I'm telling you! it's going to be that, no other way. I already knew he was going to do a shokugeki, but when it was corrupt, I figured he still going to do it and just tempt the judges that badly they try it. |

| Eizan's bastard rating went through the roof in the blink of an eye. His portrayal was sublime, the animators as well as Tomokazu Sugita truly did a fine job. I am looking forward to seeing the outcome of the utterly unfair face-off. |
| Niiiiiiiiiice. They progressed pretty far in this episode especially compared to the manga. I like this quicker pace for some of the more boring stuff so that we can get to the epic battles coming up like this one. I originally thought that the end of the shoukugeki with Eizan would be a good ending point for a 12-episode season when this season started, but with this pace, they can definitely advance to a lot of the really good battles with Central with a slate of 24 episodes or so. Pumped for more! |
