| I really loved the first series of Danganronpa, so when the next season came out I was extremely hyped. I was really disappointed by the despair arc. Pretty good name for it since it gave me despair watching it. |
| I know its not a series, but Kimi no Na wa. Sorry, it was just a very average film to me. I REALLY wanted to love it, especially after it kept breaking box office records every week when it was still in theatres. I can tell it is a very well made film and the music was good, it just didn't hit me in the kokoro like I thought it would. |

| Gundam Seed Destiny - Well 'Seed' is not my favorite Gundam title - but it still was pretty enjoyable - so I was excited for Seed Destiny tbh. Gundam G no Reconguista - I'm pretty sure I don't even need to comment this one. OH! And Inuyasha - I didn't read the manga at that time but enjoyed Ranma a lot so I was really excited back then. Just couldn't bring myself to like the show. Well - couldn't bring myself to enjoy most of the Rumiko shows/manga in the end. As for more recent examples - I think 'Koukyoushihen: Eureka Seven - Hi-Evolution 1' is the most recent one I was actually kinda 'hyped' when the movies were announced - but ended up being rather average/meh. |

| One Punch Man I heard good things about this anime and it was pretty hyped too by my friends, but I didn't like it...I found the comedy awful and the action-part was just too exagerate. | mekakucity actors i guess most of my issue w/ it is shaft's signature head-tilts/weird poses/large but mostly empty rooms/etc. i don't watch much of their stuff so i mean. like i knew that all that stuff was a Thing with the monogatari series but i thought that was exclusive to that alone - the characters themselves looked fine Most of the time but most of shaft's apparently usual animation hallmarks were out of place and just kinda got on my nerves. the manga/novel weren't as far in as they were now and it wasn't meant to be a long runner so even tho it was deus ex machina-y and the showdown with kuroha fell kinda flat for me i can't really harp on them a whole lot for how they ended it. also ep 9. |

| Psycho Pass 2. The first season was dope so naturally I was pumped for the second. Needless to say, I was disappointed. The new characters sucked, the plot twists had little to no thought put into them and it just came off as schlocky. |

| Kekkai Sensen. First, it's a Nightow series (I'm a huge fan of Trigun and Gungrave). Second, people keep saying that it's good. When I watch it? Pfft. It's something along the line of DMC anime: all style and no substance, perfectly appealing for kids. The worldbuilding and casts have the potential, but they're just forgotten. Have yet to watch the second season, but I won't be as hyped as before anymore. |
