THIS IS AN ANIME ONLY DISCUSSION POST. DO NOT DISCUSS THE MANGA BEYOND THIS EPISODE.

Mm, I wish this show focused more on the characters' idol careers rather than focusing on their acting. However, I guess it is important to develop more of their personality skills.

I hope pacing picks up more soon though. This episode felt slow even though there was a performance.
However, the melodrama in the acting and the quality of that drawing is quite something.

Looks like the drama turned out well for Mayu and Shiho, nice. :)

Bus tour with WUG sounds like fun.

Pretty decent Episode... But I have a feeling that They probably almost run out of budget for the Animation in this Episode...
I feel like most scene in this Episode feels like watching a picture drama instead of an Anime, especially in the last 8 minutes minus the Ending (After Mayu and Shiho parting)...

Can't blame It, I already quite hate the Animation ever since the first Episode tbh... I prefer the old 1st Season animation more if you ask me...

Next ep we get to see the bus tour. I'm looking forward to the junior trio meeting their idols. Though I-1 is shown as corporate and sinister, it will be a shame for all those girls to have their work come to an end. Maybe Shiho will join WUG later?

How many still frames does a show have to use before you can't call it animation anymore?

I'm more interested with the development of the 3 middle school girls who also aim to be idols...

this episode was insane like jaw dropping, if you need a perfect example of a show suffering from low animation production /budget here ya go.

it's just so disappointing ever since the new studio change this shit has looked like a hot pile of garbage and it's gotten to the point were it's trying to pass off looking at stills and calling it animation

Deadass, this has to be a shittiest animation I've ever seen. The shit on Newgrounds from 2007 had more effort.

I think i saw mayu moving for a second. Worst animated chaper. 40 seconds with the green leaves window while characters were talking.

This is the most animated scene

End of the drama part was nice, I really like how both Shiho and Mayu's friendship came out as real in the end.

But are they seriously hosting WUG Fan meeting with only two buses? There would be at least 1000 people, if not more, who would want to join the event (otherwise there would have to be a lottery and I haven't seen it anywhere mentioned. And saying that those were just people from Sendai feels like some protectional selection on the other hand.
They won the competition and are on tv daily, for god's sake! Don't underestimate japanese fans, come one! Guess we should be more worried about their fanbase as it seeems there is almost none.
Now I really wonder who is buying their CDs and how can they even earn any money...

And don't let me even start about animation quality (or lack of thereof) this time. There were so many stills and camera angles out of focus it this time, I was even worried if they aren't running out of money. I really hope this is not a sign of things to come...

This was more like a picture drama episode with all those still shots.
