Dragon Ball Z, Ronin Warriors and Sailor Moon. They were all on toonami when I was a kid it it got me interested in anime. I have to say that I don't really care for Sailor Moon, it just happened to be airing at the time.
I watched quite a bit when I was a young kid in the early 90's, although of course I didn't realise it was anime at the time! Moomin, Inspector Gadget, Littl' Bits and Grimm's Fairy Tale Classics are the ones that spring to mind at the moment.
the first I ever SAW was probably like Pokemon or Sailor Moon. It instilled in me a great hatred of all things anime.
then my sisters told me not to judge it based on kids anime. So, I got bored, flipped some channels one night and saw Trigun on Adult Swim in like 2002 or something. I was fascinated, loved the show, cried!
it was the
the episode with Wolfwood's death
I spent like several hours trying to figure out what the show was, and then started to appreciate anime and have never turned back. =)
card captors or sailor moon it was a very long time ago but i remember they are pretty similar so i cant seperate them in my mind but i am pretty angry that my first animes were so gay . i was gonna say on toonami but i didnt atch that until i was like 7
