Hot damn so starts the new arc everyone keeps raving about! Papa Nakiri has arrived! Edit: Also, it's cool how Arato seemed relieved to see Souma as if everything was gonna be alright with his arrival HAHA! |

| Wow did not expect to see a character like Erina's dad coming in to the picture and that he is going to be a new director at the school?! Just how good is his cooking that he was the one who trained Erina? And he looks so creepy... Tsukasa's cooking looks very interesting, hope to see more of his cooking getting more screen time.. Can I hope to see more serious development between Yukihira and Erina in the upcoming episodes?? I wonder if Erina's dad and Yukihira's dad know each other like when they're in Totsuki together or something? Like they had some past rivalries or something like that? That would be interesting to know, especially since it seems like their ideologies/approach towards food seems to be polar opposites... |

| So abusive trash dad shows up to act like a malicious tyrant and use his superiority complex to rule over a prestigious school and ruin the students deemed unworthy by him.....sounds kinda familiar..........hmmmmmm Despite not really seeing much of the elite 10 yet, I'm kind of surprised yet unsurprised that out of the 10, the ones who just by looking at them I thought "hm I bet I'm gonna fucking hate this character" all happen to be the ones who signed the petition. Like legit every single one. The highlight of this episode was definitely Soma crashing Erina's restaurant and unknowingly being the hero of the day. You could've cut the tension in that room with a spoon made out of cotton it was to tense. And just when everyone felt completely awkward and hopeless, Soma comes in acting like his usual self. Just seeing the faces of everyone in there - Hisako immediately sees him and is immediately overjoyed, the Sendawara sisters see him and get excited and yell "Yukihira Soma!" Because they like instantly knew that Soma's background and happy-go-lucky personality were the complete anti-thesis to Azami. Before anything even happened they were so excited to see him of all people because they knew he would chase Azami off even if he wasn't aware of it lmao. Erina was also about as relieved as she could be in that situation as well when she saw him. |

| Wow, I was thinking something is about to happen with recent Senzaemon appearances but I didn't really expect coup d'état. Only Erina, Isshiki, Kuga and Tosuke are good guys now, the rest are enemies that needs to be defeated (coupled with Erina's father too). Souma has new motivation now. Can't wait to see changes in the school, some students are probably in real danger now (Tadokoro for example). Wonder if all the crew now gets together to defeat the bad guys as OP and ED suggests. |
| Feels like they're randomly forcing a stereotypical shonen villain into the series. Dude even looks like some kind of monster. And like a lot of other people have said, it's dumb to give students that kind of power. I don't care if they're the Elite Ten. They shouldn't have power equal to or more than the director. They're students. |
| Wow, I didn't know that was coming! Erina's father has just been introduced and is already going to make a profound effect. So the elite 10 have that much power, eh? DAMN. And I really like the director guy, it's a shame that this (obviously a villain) guy is here now. Erina is terrified! Well, I still don't have my head around all of these characters, so I'll just keep watching.. |

| Awesome episode! I think I enjoy the episodes the most when there isn't any actual cooking ... or it's used to advance the story XD I'm glad that Kuga ended up winning in sales otherwise it'd be just too unbelievable. Guess Kuga was just like Souma and issued a challenge right away before getting owned XD Interesting to see Tsukasa's cooking, and Rindo is a pretty cool character as well. Really interesting to see Erina's father, I wonder what he did to get kicked out and why Erina's so afraid of him :O Plus it looks like things are gonna change with him in charge especially with the Elite 10 wanting him in as well ... he also looks like a vampire or something his skin is so pale LOL. Either way I'm excited to see how this is gonna change things! Glad to see this arc finished though, albeit a bit suddenly, because I wasn't super into it :P |

| A villain appeared out of nowhere, was it really necessary? The worst part is that he acts and looks evil. Also, I know that the Elite Ten are very powerful in the Tōtsuki Culinary Academy but they ousted the director very easily. Forced as fuck. 2/5 |

| Kuga and Souma's unofficial battle had more or less ended in a whimper since there wasn't a clear winner, with the outcome being easily overshadowed by Tsukasa's intricate 9-course meal but this episode's second half was over-the-top enough to blow everything out of the water. I certainly didn't expect a scenario as dramatic as this to happen at this time without any prior notice. I can only wonder how this will be handled, hm. |

| The final day. Dat flashback. Shaft headtilt? Tsukasa. Der WeiBe Ritter del Tafel. Erina looking perfect. Who is that? Aizen! I mean Show! I mean her father? Soma is on fire. Driven out of Totsuki? Nakiri Azami? Yoko! He sat in the seat. Soma appears. Azami left. Oh shit! They came in 10 deep. New school director? Dat ending. Dat new ED version adding Azami. I see why they cast Show as Azami. lol |

| The actual episode was really good and the ending was quite intense, but man knowing how the series turns out to be, I also partially hate this episode for Azami just existing and being introduced to the series. He's like a virus that spoiled the whole series from here, and then further demolished by someone else in the future. |
