| Kiritsugu's character didn't get a satisfying ending at all since everything was already determined before it. It would have been interesting in an alternate route sort of way to have him as the MC in F/SN. He could have become less "edgy" and ruthless and instead developed further after the F/Z ending. His and Kirei's relationship also had a lot more potential to get interesting, same for Saber. And I would also like to see how he would interact with Archer. Also nother Fate anime in the style of F/Z (dark battle royale) would be great. |

Well like I said F/SN fans would obviously disagree lol. Sry but I think it sucked ass and I would have loved a proper continuation of F/Z (obviously couldnt happen since its a prequel) |

| I don't see this working out nor being interesting. Gen Urobuchi had 4 volumes to write Kiritsugu's character and we got this. He was likeable for the most part but his backstory was disappointing. I thought his backstory was very well done, it was more interesting than Shirou's backstory (if there isn't anything more to him) and really made me invested in his character Didn't know some VN readers also think UBW was a bad adaptation, interesting. |
| Exactly what I wanted! I wanted to see Kiritsugu in the Fate/Zero UBW,but they decided to kill him off,which is a big mistake in my opinion. He needed to see his daughter again! I think he needed to kill the priest again,the priest lives,but Kiritsugu dies? WTF?! Just,plane stupid if you ask me. They made a huge mistake for killing him off and bringing Shiro in his place.I think Shiro is fine,but they should have leave Kiritsugu alive! Big mistake! |

| If you played/watched all three routes (especially UBW and Heaven's Feel) of Fate/Stay Night, you'll understand why Kiritsugu HAD TO die before Fate/Stay Night starts. Because without his death the story of Fate/Stay Night will never happen in the way it is now. Remember that night when So without Kerry's death, Shirou will just become a normal high school guy playing bow and arrow with Shinji. And Kerry will finish the fifth holy grail war within 3 days. (Let's forget Sakura here) |
