| This episode though a bit dark for my taste, had me focused on every single detail throughout the whole thing. It's like the story is just waiting for my eyeballs to insert their attention into it. | Yeah, he's definitely using her as tool only, for his own goals, that was clear for a while now. Also, using her power costs her life and he brought her to the land of dragons intentionally to cope with her upcoming death, no doubt. Can't really like him right now, also, his shadow element - he may as well be the ultimate antagonist of this show. As for those two, guess she would have to convince them to give up on their lives too, to clear the corruption. Wonder how that goes. |

| This episode was balanced. It made fall in love to see all those cats but it also made me cringe seeing a serial cat killer. Who would do such a awful thing to those poor animals :( I want to see who made the sick woman fall in love with that guy. It made no sense cuz she seemed to love cats... Chise is in trouble again =w= |

| This working honeymoon is very interesting and tedious as the same time. Mages are cool, sorcerers are shady AF, check. LOL So her husband is the cat serial killer? What he's problem with the cats, I wonder? Seeking a cure for her wife's illness by sacrificing cats? Or something else? |

| He has obviously been hiding something from Chise, and what that sorcerer says might even be true... but somehow I'm inclined to think that Elias is not a bad person and that only his perception of this so called truth might be so off as to paint Elias as the evil one here... mmm, we'll see |

| Another well-woven episode of magic and mystery. The plot manages to carry on the events with a narrative that exudes esotericism from every pore and the addition of new characters only serves to increase expectations. The story proposed in this episode seems interesting. Drawings and animations, they are of good quality, ditto the backgrounds. |

| Just like Shirayuki from Akagami no Shirayukihime, Chise is quite kidnappable. It's her second time drowning too lol Those cats were pretty cute though, especially the mama cat. She's so beautiful. |

| They really do a good job making this personal even if its new characters that come and go like the wind. I really hope chise doesn't think much about her fate... I mean the dragons already told her to confront her death and live with no regrets. Thus is life. we all die stop bitching about it and live life. That is truth that no one is trying to fucking hide. Those sorcerers need to shut the fuck up lolz fear mongering does no good in the long run. |

| This anime was really trying its ass off to make me into a cat person after this episode but I have a strong will to not change easily lol, still though the cats were awesome and yet again, the world building continues to blow me away as a whole in various aspects. While I prefer the previous episode to this, it was a great episode again and even featured an intense cliffhanger and revelation too as Renfred and his woman held Chise at knifepoint, and chastising Elias for holding Chise as a prisoner disguised as an apprentice and not revealing the fact that Sleigh Beggies don't have long lifespans too. Elias does have a lot of secrets and mysteries surrounding his own character, let alone his real intentions, plus there's still so much to uncover about the actual world of magic and sorcery in that show that the show makes me excited to learn all about the details along with Chise in this case. I've been enjoying the dub quite a lot too, equivalent to how I felt for the Japanese version when I saw it for the first time, as well as when I rewatched the OVAs before restarting this anime. |

| This show has been proficient at building the atmosphere every episode. And just like the previous ones, this episode also had an immersive atmosphere. For example, and now this might be me overthinking, the tone of the third episode was "heavier" in comparison, perhaps to illustrate the theme of "passing on" or "death" and to illicit the emotion of "grief". Not much exploration of Chise's psyche this time, but we seemed to have stumbled upon a setup for a small, or perhaps, a long arc. Hopefully the instances of Chise drowning in a body of water will decrease after we're through. This is also going to be the first on-screen instance of clear hostility towards Chise so I'm interested in how she is going to cope with it. |
