| Damn, that was so close! Nikaido seemed to be a bit too excited for the last few chapters and just when he almost had it in the bag, his body gave away. I love the fact how Souya Meijin wanted to force Nikaido to make a move there, you can tell he was definitely enjoying it. Seeing how the crowd reacted though, it can't be helped honestly but I wonder how many times this sort of stuff happened irl too. I hope this won't start to destroy his career... Souya Meijin being possibly petty was kind of funny too. At least Nikaido found solace in it though, lmao. Interesting to see how Nikaido's butler pleaded Nikaido's father (I'm guessing) to allow him to continue playing shogi. I would definitely love to see a chapter or two at least focusing on that. |
