| THIS IS AN ANIME ONLY DISCUSSION POST. DO NOT DISCUSS THE MANGA BEYOND THIS EPISODE. ---------------------------------------- nice we get Ash vs Gladion 2....but, just like last time, theres some sort of shenanigans happening. at least Ash was fine with finishing the battle. hopefully one day, they'll have an actual shenanigan-free battle. Type:Null is pretty powerful we also get a small backstory on Lillie and why Gladion is no fan of Ultra Beasts turns out Ash's Lycanroc is a clean freak...a very scary one at that side note: Gladion calling Type:Null as Sylvally is messing me up since Sylvally is its evolved form...but i'm sure i'll understand (like a code name while it was still being created) as the story goes on |

| First time seeing a Pokemon use Swords Dance in the anime. That Type:Null has some quite powerful moves. - Crush Claw - Double Edge - Swords Dance - Double Hit and Air Slash. |

| Makes sense now why Lillie is so traumatized with touching Pokemon. Getting grabbed by that tentacle-y Nihilego would traumatize anyone. Poor Lillie ;-; I like that Gladion is calling it Silvally even though technically it's "Type: Null". Realistically, it's "evolution" is just it's true form with that restraining mask taken off, so it's not like a real evolution. |
