Along with the obvious skills such as subtitle reading and a couple Japanese words, I also learned how to shitpost from MAL and how to be equally critical of children's shows as a true artistic masterpiece from MAL

I learned a few Japanese words. Oh, and, I decided to go back to playing the piano and learn how to play the violin because of Shigatsu wa Kimi no Uso, does that count?

I learned a few japanese words , a lot of from the japanese culture and as a skill ... cracking my fingers like Kaneki Ken , it's actually much easier .

I learned more about economics from watching/reading Spice and Wolf than I ever did in my economics class. A lot of new words from listening to Okabe's delusional ramblings from the Steins;Gate dub. I think that's about it.

I learned various Japanese words.
I learned to love Indian food after Hayama's introduction in Food Wars.
The Claymore manga almost inspired me to learn drawing, which I'm still thinking about.
I also gained experience in obtaining digital media for free.
