I think this episode was fine but the story feels a bit all over the place. I kinda do like how the character pairs are all getting some screen time rather than just one specific group.

Out of all the characters, I like Misaki the most so far. She just seems so mature even though she can be a bit cold. It's understandable why Chiyuki acts the way she does as part of the pairing consdiering her past.

In regards to the series' mechanics, it seems this episode gives some details into sidecar racing on the road. Not bad.

Some some troubles have been solved but a past trauma can be a major issue both in life and in racing.
It was nice that the girls managed to solve the issue tho.
Hopefully it will help them in the coming race.

Nice episode.

It's ironic how they say you need trust between the driver and the passenger to drive a racing wheeler but Yuri and Megumi are kinda at each others throats, I suppose that deep down they do trust each other despite what they say.

Chiyuki backstory was quite sad. However, her and Misaki's reconciliation was really sweet.

Misaki and Chiyuki would make for a good yuri romance manga.
They don't want to lose each other but they overcome it the end.

I initially thought this would be mainly a cute girls racing show, but it seems the actual racing part is background to a story of development. Not just for the MC's but the supporting cast as well. Which is nice and all but I really don't know that much about sidecar racing and was hoping this would be more Initial D like in it's explanation of racing.

It was nice to see Misaki and Chiyuki solving their problem and that they made up in the end. Best episode so far imo.

As someone who likes racing in general, it was awesome to see parts of the Suzuka Circuit being animated. Loved it!

So that was arguably the best episode of this show so far. We finally get some depth to some characters being Chiyuki and Misaki so that's always good. I feel like the intimacy of the relationship between rider and passenger correlating to how well the people fill said roles are essential to an effective team so that much I am glad they focused on. Why is it that side characters are turning out to be better than our two main characters though? Seriously, we have a matter of trust between two girls coming from two different backgrounds. I mean looking at the team that's the MCs/poster girls, said characters are kinda dumb. Also, random note: Hitomi and Mao are such copy and paste concepts of Haruka and Michiru from Sailor Moon that I die inside every time they get even a second of screen time.

Overall, a decent episode 3.5/5 but I feel like episodic character development is honestly what's going to carry this show.

So that's what they meant by "fireworks".

Needs more racing!

Trust is the key to everything like always, good that Misaki and Chiyuki overcame their issues regarding that.

Chiyuki & Misaki quite non-tropey than how the commentator suggested. Chiyuki working thru ptsd & doesnt act like the usual ojousama. Misaki not just emo but has work ethics & friend reasons.
Good riding mechanics on how not to die.
Helmet-free with padded fireworks at night seems really dangerous.

I cringe whenever they get so close to the ground without a helmet. They don't even tie their hair back.

I'm surprised this is scored so low? 5.88 at the time of this post. Pretty good episode imo. The commentator is pretty funny when being energetic takes a toll on her.

And the whole "they don't wear helmets, because it's a practise run, and they're not going too fast" argument goes out of the window.

This show is so irresponsible. If it'd been made it the West, some kid would have gotten killed allready tie-wrapping a shopping cart to a dirt bike.

It's an all female non-ecchi sports anime about sidecar racing,.. at least on paper, it doesn't get any more niche than this

Also, Re-L +1

Dummy, you can't go Super Saiyan if you tie your hair back.

Shit. I didn't had a much time to understand the whole explanations about all of that. I felt dumb with these kind of sport, actually. If you were in game, it might be fun. But, when you tried by yourself, moreover you were a newbie. Damn, you might be lost your life with its first attempt. Its nice to seen their little brief that, eventhough the whole part still felt missed to impact. Otherwise, its an okay approaching, i appreciate their effort.

With other girls problem, i can't say much. Because the result felt expected and too easy to be solved. I called it cliche. However, since they were all a cute girls, and the last scenes were so sweet as candy. I might be forget all of the cringey resolution they had. Okay episode.
