Can say I can understand why this change was made (at least in change in everything) because the author got pissed at the studio for how they handled the adaptation, so that's really why they lost their license really.

I still like TNK but yeah that really blows.

Not sold on the art. Really not a fan after being used to seeing the same style for 3 seasons.

According to Anime News Network, the following seiyuu so far are confirmed for reprising their roles:

Kaji Yuuki as Hyoudo Issei
Hikasa Yoko as Rias Gremory
Asakura Azumi as Asia Argento
Itou Shizuka as Akeno Himejima
Taketatsu Ayana as Koneko Tōjō
Nojima Kenji as Yūto Kiba
Koyama Rikiya as Azazel
Ohsaka Ryota as Vali Lucifer
Nakamura Yuuichi as Sairaorg Bael

Good start, but that still has me a bit worried since that's far from the full list of characters. Idk how many other characters will appear in the volumes they're adapting, but that still leaves out:

- Ddraig
- Albion
- Kuroka
- Xenovia
- Serafell
- Sirzechs
- Irina
- Ophis
- Souna
- Gasper
- Ravel
- Roseweisse

And those are just the bigger named characters, that's not including side characters like family members or classmates.

To be fair, High School DxD is a novel, and Passione is responsible for one of the most faithful novel adaptation we ever got. (regardless of how much you liked it, it was very faithful). It's also responsible for a complete failure on that part, so half/half I guess?
Although since the staff is different, it's not like it's going to be any indication of how faithful this one is going to be~

@Zefyris Don't get me wrong, I loved Rokka no Yuusha anime, but it's Passione's inexperience and the new staff that makes me skeptical. They haven't done anything like this, I'll be more than happy for my worries to be proven wrong.

The staff doesn't feel very good, yes.
I would compare this more to stuff like Alderamin's adaptation, where no one really stood out as experienced, and it indeed lead to a very clumsy result where inexperience was felt everywhere.

People keep saying that they dislike the new artstyle, but it may in fact add a new playful aspect to the show. -although loosing a lot of it's mature aspects.

wtf why did they change the studios now the art is different and in the trailer i saw that Asia have bigger boobs than usual and Koneko is so different especially her hair it looks so weird with new colors.

Watching the first 3 seasons of HighSchool DxD I really loved the animation of the seasons and I was looking to see the same animation for the fourth season, but my hopes were gone after seeing the trailer and the new animation within' it. I just wanted to see the old animation to come to the fourth season, it just looks better and many people will agree with me.(And I have to wait until eng subbed or dubbed comes for me to understand anything).

Well people.......just finished the season, and as you all, i found the animation weird at first but the apparent "lack of details" was more compensated by the rest. REALLY liked this season and i'm looking for the next!!! >.<
