Wow, somehow I never imagined this to be a heartwarming, funny slice-of-life show. But looking at the PV now I'm sort of excited.

I really liked the song, and from the PV it looks like it could be good. I'm still doubtful though.

From the anime page synopsis, I thought that the parents were still there, and everyone thinks it's okay for them to "mod" their children.

The synopsis in the anime announcement thread is way better
A scientist couple has been arrested for conducting illegal studies, allegedly for performing genetic modification on five of their children. Youngest children, Dannis, is the only one who grew up as a normal human, and has become the only family member who has to tend to rest of the members and to try to find a medicine to turn them into normal humans again.

Dog human, plant gene, spider web gene, as well as mind reading, how will these family members who grew up in the laboratory survive in the outside world?!

Looks pretty good to me. Looks like it has potential but I could see it going downhill quickly.

Wasn't this originally supposed to air this season? Either way, the visuals looks great and I'm even more excited for it now

When nothing's moving, the anime looked really good. But when things started to move, some scenes were well-animated, some were not. I am still impressed though, considering this is from a Chinese animation studio.

This is a Chinese production though isn't it (unless I'm missing something)? I'm not sure if this should be listed while Western 'anime style' shows are not, it's a bit hypocritical if you ask me.

Yes, this is a Chinese production and is basically made by Chinese people but since we've already got other "anime" shows which were made and worked together by Chinese and Japanese people (animation staffs), plus some of the staffs that worked and were in-charge for the anime shows production are also Japanese people, so it's probably might not be that unusual or uncommon anymore, since it's also known as Chinese-Japanese animation partnership. As far as I know, MyAnimeList (MAL) could've listed those kind of shows but it depends, though. Like what I just said, it also depends on the criteria and approval by the staffs of those shows themselves.
