| I was a bit biased about this show after watching (and dropping) Gamers, but if what's going on in this episode stays like this till the end, i could say Animegataris is basically what Gamers could have been if ONLY they're staying true to what their title implies, and i honestly like it. The show itself is imo enjoyable whether you're a casual or a veteran one, since both MC showcased in this episode caters to both side. If you're somewhat turned off even before watching the show because there could be a lot of reference you might don't get in this show, don't worry, the MC doesn't get it either. There is indeed some slightly cringy and weird scene from time to time, but then again, this is an anime about anime, so what do you expect? It's realistic, but it also has its comical side. tl;dr It's pretty good whether for casual or veteran anime-watcher, slightly cringy and weird from time to time but still tolerable. N.B. Oh hey, the VA for Girlish Number is playing in the show. N.B. No, fuck you with your misunderstanding. If you want to talk about misunderstanding, don't use Gamers as your title. That's misleading. |

| Not really entertaining enough, not really relaxing enough, not really funny enough, not really cute enough, flat script, flat acting, etc etc, not impressive at all. Gamers at least looked enjoyable, obnoxious characters were the problem. In this case the characters are inoffensive, but everything seems so so boring. Dropped |

| If I'm being honest, I don't know what the fuck I just watched but it seems like a bit of fun I can follow every week, the beret and cat are intriguing too. Slightly above average and I like how at the end the cat was like "don't drop us after the first ep" |

| I don't even remember adding this to my list, just sort of saw it there and watched it because... I didn't have anything else to do... and I clicked on it by accident... Glad I did, and I like the opening a lot. Anime itself is pretty basic, doesn't seem like anything all the special YET, gotta see how this plays out. |

| Entertaining. I thought at first It'll be a normal anime club anime until the cat talked. Three main girls are cute. Plus OP is made by Garnidelia which is cute and energetic. Definitely on my list. |

| Why is this rated so low? Visuals are definitely decent. Well this anime seems to be starting very slowly, it seems that the main plot has yet to pick up. Too early to judge, but I have high hopes. Also the OP is among the worst I've heard. Only other horrible one was Lucky Star OP. Also can someone list all the references? |
| Great, atmospheric start. Nice to references to more recent series. It seems to be a great slice of life series. Great ED Song. ED animation... it looks way better than Love Live, WUG and other 3DCG dance sequences, but it's still a crap. OP song was the best part of Lucky Star... Seriously, it was(is) great. |

| This kind of went under my nose, but I'm glad I picked it up. Is it me or does the rich girl seem really pale in comparison? And the girl with glasses looks like Asuka from Hibike Euphonium. And that cat told me not to drop the show, so I won't. Cats know best, after all. |

| Don't mind the talking cat ruining some verisimilitude to a high-school slice-of-life. I enjoyed the old ninja butler and maid of the ojuo-sama character. Might worth watching it for winding down from the day with a few chuckles. |

| Did they trap Tezuka in that room or just steal his beret? Since her dream's just various references, I expect it's just an amalgamation of various anime scenes she's seen growing up. Not sure if I can keep up with this, it's almost too relatable: beautiful, rich, blonde, popular high school girl that loves anime and can't find anyone as knowledgeable about anime. |

| Well, it's pretty average so far but it could be fun, gonna try one or two more episodes to make sure. There were probably tons of references but I didn't get most of them, not really sure if this series tries to be mahou-shoujo, SoL, chuuni fantasy or comedy, let's see. |

| Not sure if it was just a reference or they are actually trying to pull a Madoka Magica or something with that ending scene. And what kind of psychopaths step on a cat's face and belly and act as if it's nothing? At first I thought it was a stuffed toy, given its weird appearance and the fact that they didn't react to stepping on it, yet they kept calling it a cat. Anyway, not a bad episode. I already like Minoa and the Ojou girl. And good to see some male characters in the club for a change, although they seem like a bunch of weirdos. The art may be generic and somewhat bland, but it surprisingly doesn't look all that bad. |
| I had no expectations for this going in, but it looks promising to me so far! The visuals are OK, not too great, but the OP and ED are both super catchy and the characters seem interesting so far. Minoa is pretty stereotypical in the case of female MCs, but the blonde-haired girl was super awesome this episode. Yes she's the rich ojou-sama type but she seems to really love anime! Even though the beret and cat are uh ... kind of weird lol, I guess this is gonna be some kind of magical slice of life?! O_o I admit I only get the references to maybe half the shows that were mentioned but I'm not a crazy anime fan, and hearing her talk about seasonal shows and trying to guess Minoa's tastes were pretty hilarious :P |
| This show is too advanced for those who settle with one or two genres but it does appeal to those who've already watched tons and tons of anime and when I mean tons I mean thousands of anime. It's an anime about anime where they like anime lmao. It's funny and it's good to see a refreshing kind of Ojou-sama who is closest to the main character since most are either bland but hot/cute or has less screen time. That talking cat reminds me of the cat yokai in Yokai Watch but he feels like Doraemon. The MC though is obviously mixing her memories cause I could see Macross, Escaflowne, Evangelion and Sailormoon in that lmao |

| Well, they didn't actually setup well on first episode. I don't even know what's the premise is other than making an anime club or just a club in general like every other anime. But I do like how the cat says "don't drop us after 1 episode" on the preview, so I'm gonna give it a try. |
