| THIS IS AN ANIME ONLY DISCUSSION POST. DO NOT DISCUSS THE MANGA BEYOND THIS EPISODE. ---------------------------------------- Ayşe Armut has so much responsibility to bear in this show... It's almost hard to imagine what she's going through. Mahmut has impressed me in these recent episodes including this one as well. He brings hope for his people and I think they appreciate him for that. A lot of human emotions this episode but I guess that's what war and drama brings. Ayse is also showing a kinder side to Orhan. Pretty good way to set up for the remainder second cour of this season. |

| I'm glad Mahmut could convince everyone to let Fatma stay alive. That scene was quite dramatic and I felt sorry for her son. Also cool that Torqye finally plans to go actively against the Empire, Mahmut could redeem his honor and also got granted with a new position. Hope the second half won't disappoint. |

| I didn't think Ayşe Armut was going to participate in the battle. Mahmut did very well in this episode. It was nice of him to keep Fatma alive. The little boy can be with his mother. Because of his actions, he has been reinstated as pasha. |

| Ismail had no problems killing his dad lol, he really didn't give a shit. I thought Fatma's "death" scene was done well, i really believed she was going to die but Mahmut is too good-natured for that. It's awesome to see that Mahmut is a pasha again, let's see what kind of contributions he makes in the 2nd cour. |

| Ismail taking advantage to rise to sultan and mahmut saving fatma from dying cause that kid will be filled with revenge afterwards. Reinstated as pasha and gets a foreign ambassador role. |

| Since last episode got me all fired up I read the manga... so this excitement has been numbed down significantly but in any case this was very eventful. They accomplished a lot in this episode but it doesn't feel rushed. I can't wait for more episode. This series will only pick up from here. |

| Great episode again. Ismail killed his dad without as much as an after thought. I'm really really glad that Mahmut chose to let Sulta Fatma live, I honestly felt really bad for the kid who was caught up in all this and upto the very last moment I was hoping that he would not have to see his Mom die in front of him. Job well done Mahmut and I loved the little speech he gave after letting her live claiming that he would not even allow the Divan to fiddle with his decisions. The entire scene was handled incredibly well and what more, respect for Mahmut. Glad to see Mahmut becoming a Pasha again and the last scene with him exchanging a few words with Zaganos Pasha was really nice. Looking forward to the 2nd cour. |

| Ahhh! So many things happened...AGAIN! Mahmut spared Fatma's life, because if they killed her, her son would never forgive them and the four sultans would not be united as Mahmut wanted them to be. Now that's a leader for you! And Aishe will watch over the young prense. What a beautiful conclusion! Shed those tears people! Mahmut becomes Pasha again and also becomes the first minister of foreign affairs. And the best part is, Zaganos approves! It looks like the 2nd cour is where Mahmut will begin his advances on the Empire. With what he's learned in his past travels, it looks like he's ready to take them on. Time to get political! |

| this is great point to end the season, but they keep going to 2nd cour anyway, nice. I already completely forget everything in the manga past this point, that a big plus for me. |

| Good episode. Ismail didn't give a shit when he was killing his father. I'm liking the development for Mahmut and I'm glad that he let Fatma live. For his achievement, he got his Pasha position back. |

| Splendidly executed by Mahmut there. To spare the prens from the pain of the death of his mother, and to spare the prenses from making such a difficult choice and the consequential aftermath of that choice. Wonderfully done. The reinstatement of his previous rank was well deserved, as was the suggestion to stunt the Empire's advances through economic warfare. Looking forward to what we see next. |

| Really nice episode! Glad happy that Mahmut got his position as Pasha. I think that he did great by spearing her life, it was the best output possible. And i really liked the fact that all of the 4 new sultans now like him and would fight for him till the death. Next episode will be more of a chill one, at least it looks like xD |

| Wow, cant believe we're only 13 episodes in and so many things have happened! I love this series' pacing! Well dayumn look at Mahmut building for himself allies lol XD I wonder if by the "political way" he meant being the most powerful pasha in Torqye Stratocracy? XD I actually thought that Mahmut would bring up Venedik, but it's a good thing that he didn't. Glad to see he is a Pasha again and him being the 1st minister of foreign affairs, how cool is that??? Cant wait for the next arc!! |

| I am glad Sultan Fatman was not executed, I just can't stand mothers being killed even for whatever reason. I see Mahmut has reinstated for the pasha position, he truly deserved it after suppressing that rebellion. I see also he got more out of it he might become the leader of the strategy division and also a foreign minister. |

| Wow, since the Phoinike "arc", I've really enjoyed the development of the plot and the last few episodes were totally great! (maybe because of all the military tactics, characters development... Princess Aishe, etc.) I really hope the second cour to not disappoint. P.S.: I'm gonna miss both OP and ED. |
| That finale of the first part just blew me away, it was just perfect. I am so so SO happy that the biggest shock value came from plotwist that turned things for the better without being to cheesy or banal. I cried tears of relief during that mkment, really did. |
