| A question that was brought to my attention and nobody seems to have mentioned in this thread: Isn't Bahamut way too small in size compared to S1? What's up with that? Maybe he was weakened by the seal or something? |

I can distinctively hear "Shin", which in context does go as "true", but the rest of his words are illegible to my hearing. You can't leave such important exposition up to the viewer's imagination. |

You can't leave such important exposition up to the viewer's imagination. That's one of the few criticism I have of the show. They left some things unanswered such details on Bahamut, why Charioce imprisoned Favaro "he might known he defeated Bahamut years ago still that's speculation", we needed backstory of Charioce and flashbacks of his past. But oh well, I analyze the show and his character a lot so I kind of understand where this is all coming from but if some of the audience don't I understand that. Nevertheless I enjoyed the show very much and would give it a 9/10. |

| Very unsatisfying last episode of S2! since Kaizar died for NOTHING! that's LAME! BUT at least Kaizar is now a Zombie thanks to Rita. i'm giving the last episode as 2/5. it's nice to see that Nina met Amira! also nice to see Lucifer joined forces with Gabriel to defend the humans from the raging Bahamut! is this Yuuki Yuuna wa? wherein Nina lost her voice!? And Baccus is in love with Sophiel!?!? good to see Charioce danced again with Nina! but i'll keep the score as 8/10 since the OST was classically epic. |

| felt like an extendend genesis. strong start and falling off throughout the run, altho because of the length its flaws are far more visible. I still bawled my eyes out at the end tho, not because character died but because characters I really care about where upset. Also the ending is quite cute. Because one is mute and the other blind they can only communicate through touch. Alone for that I'd give the show a 6/10 lol. I'd much rather give it a 5 |

| For anyone thinking Nina and crew didn't matter in the end, from what I saw of the "shootout" between Bahamut and the weapon, the weapon wouldn't have had enough power from only the king. At best, Bahamut would have been injured (but not fatally) while the weapon would have been destroyed. At worst, the weapon's fire would have never reached Bahamut, and the weapon would have been destroyed. As I expected, this ending turned out to have too much "all is forgiven" at the end. Even with his real goal revealed, he was still responsible for a lot of suffering, much of it which seems difficult to justify to reach that goal. |

| I hope this show is over now for good. I mean, after killing so many characters and breaking my heart, I really want nothing more. It was a sad and painful experience, but it was great as well. Also I was like 90% Rita would turn Kaisar into a zombie lmao but why didn’t Favaro mourn his death anyway |

| Great finale, aside from some pacing issues which started a few episodes ago. I don't understand why people were confused about Kaiser sacrificing himself. He knew only the king could defeat Bahamut, it was totally in character for him to do that. As for another season, I guess that depends on sales. Not quite as memorable as the first season, but sequels rarely are. |

| Glad its over, have an itch to mark it as dropped even having watched all 24 eps. The Onyx soldiers who suffered and struggled the most died pathetically while our 'hero' king lives as a blind dancing with mute Nina. I think many will agree that best or atleast better characters got fucked while retard/annoying ones were glorified and let off with comparatively minor spanks. And I'm not even happy at Kaisar's zombification. yeah I do shipped her with Rita but this was abhorrent. Wish Nina-King traded places with Amira-jou. Pretty insulting sequel to shit on the original casts and horrible writing to even compare with Genesis. Probably would have worked better without cringey forced romance angle between the King and Nina. |

| You know, I really liked this season a lot until the ending. I mean, yeah, Charioce and Nina are one of the most questionable pairings but somehow I was still rooting for them for some reason. Mugaro’s death really made me feel, and demons and gods coming together was badass. I’m not sure why but the ending just leaves a bad taste in my mouth. Maybe it’s cause it makes no sense to me how a blind guy and mute girl are going to be able to love together but OH WELL. Wouldn’t say it was a waste of time but also wouldn’t say it lived up to what I thought it was gonna be.... on the to the next, I suppose! |

| And a 4 is what this season gets. First half was ok, but second half was just really, really bad. From the forced-down-your-throat, horrible romance to the terrible decisions and lack of actual personalities, it all went crap. Nina turned out to be a very bad lead, seemingly caring about nothing but a guy she met and danced twice, the rest were seemingly blind to her idiocy, Charioce turned out to be laughable with all the "good guy" act in the end, Kaisar was replaced by a cookie cutter paladin, Favaro was ok but we didn't seem him enough, Nina was basically just support and honestly, only Azazel was worth it in this show. And he was getting screwed every single time... amazing. It's really sad how this season went and how they replaced a cool cast with a crappy one and even managed to ruin some characters from the original one.... Sigh, oh well. As for this episode, I saw zombie Kaisar from miles away and meh, it was a boring end. But hey, at least it's done. |

SeeNyu said: Could anyone explain me why did Charioce summon Bahamut? Is it because he knew that was gonna happen so he wanted to sacrifice himself to kill bahamut once and for all? I think he wanted to kill Bahamut in his weaker form. Every time Bahamut got out the gods sealed him instead of trying to actually kill him. No one had the power on par with Bahamut but Dromos proved to be very powerful. He can't guarantee someone in the future can handle him and Dromos might fall in the hands of a weaker king or someone else. Charioce gave up his life for the world, not any king would do that. Think about it. Bahamut wouldn't break out of the seal until he was fully recovered and at its max power. It's better to kill him while he is weak rather than wait for him until he powers up and breaks the seal on his own. They saw signs of Bahamut's revival so they went on with their plans to kill him before he becomes more powerful. Someone mentioned that Bahamut looked smaller in Virgin Soul compared to Genesis I think he is right. |

As for this episode, I saw zombie Kaisar from miles away and meh, it was a boring end. But hey, at least it's done. The main problem with the second half was the pacing not the story itself. If that's how you look at the story and not happy about Azazel getting screwed over then of course you won't be happy with the series. I really wonder if we are watching the same show. Virgin Soul isn't about your favorite character struggling throughout the series and is promised a happy ending. "Charioce laughable with the good act" You do know Charioce was never the villain in virgin soul. His actions are horrible but his goals are noble. He is an anti-villain if you know what that means. Is it because he enslaved "poor demons"? and screwed Azazel over? sure his actions against the demons were horrible BUT they make sense. Azazel was a murderer, most demons were murderers if you recall Genesis. Humans have a deeply rooted hatred for demons for ages and when they got the power they treated demons 10 times worse. And the gods? the neglected mankind most of the time and wouldn't want to hand them the power to protect themselves from any threat including demons. They look down at mankind and would never allow them to depend on themselves. To Charioce if getting blood on his hands means the only way he can protect mankind so be it, he asked the gods for the ancient artifacts they refused so he took it by force. The god had a powerful ancient power but never bothered using it. Charioce was a ruthless but good king. He was never evil. "He was getting screwed everytime" you know Mugaro's death though I hated it was the only thing that could "REDEEM" azazel right? it was karma getting back at him for killing humans in cold blood including Favaro and Kaisar's fathers, now he knows what it feels like to lost a loved one killed in cold blood. MOST OF THE TIME Azazel got screwed over because of his own plans not because of Nina or anyone else. The failed demon rebellion was because of his bad planning. "lack of personalities" are you serious? lack of personality?! every character was well-written and left an impact on this show even secondary characters. Were you so focused on Azazel that you forgot other characters existed? that's your problem then. "Kaisar was replaced by a cookie cutter paladin" Kaisar have always strived to bring honor to his family's name again and wanted to be a knight. He became the captain of the Orleans Knights "THE KING'S PERSONAL KNIGHTS". He grew up to be an honorable and selfless man that wanted peace. He was fantastic in virgin soul and stayed in character until the end. "caring about nothing but a guy she met and danced twice" you do know she saved her friends multiple times and that includes your dearly beloved Azazel that would have been killed if it weren't for her. Even Charioce would have straightaway killed him if he didn't realize he had a connection with Nina. The romance developed in the most simple way, it wasn't just the dancing, they fell in love at first sight and I don't know why it's hard to process that. Did you focus on their interactions even before the festival dance? or were you too focused on Azazel being her interest? the one guy that treated her like trash? but of course if you hate Charioce you wouldn't like the romance anyways. I am actually surprised you're a review moderator.... no offense but you don't seem to get what this story is actually about. Here I'll summarize it in points. The main protagonists are Nina and Charioce they are the ones that move the plot, not Azazel, not Favaro, and not Jeanne. The first cour focused on Azazel's arc and the conflict between demons, gods and mankind where mankind were seen as the bad guys this time. The gods think mankind lost its way and want them to worship them again. Demons are enslaved and were "too victimized" by certain fans forgetting the MAIN REASON they were in this state was because of actions of most demons including Azazel that found joy in killing humans for no reason. Charioce is focused on making mankind prosper and tries to eliminate any threat to his plans including the rag demon, holy child, and the red dragon. The second cour focused on Charioce's secret weapon Dromos and what his goal really is since most characters saw how powerful Dromos was and were afraid Charioce might use it for the wrong goal. All characters were focused on Charioce's goal that what the whole second cour focused on until the final battle where it is revealed he is actually planning to defeat Bahamut. His goal was hinted in episodes 5, 15, and 21. If you thought Charioce had an ulterior evil goal then you weren't paying attention. In the end he became a hero because he defeated the most frightening being this world has ever seen and he has done something no one not even gods and demons were capable of doing. Simple story, complex characters, and a little bad pacing at the second cour. This isn't Azazel's story its mainly Nina and Charioce's even the theme of the show is called "A tale of love and ruin". |

| @yaya_90 Well, what can I say, I disagree with almost everything. "Complex characters"... Not even. They were as predictable as they could be, except silly twists. Though, to be fair, Nina's stupidity at first wasn't as apparent, I gave her too much credit. I know who the main characters of this series are. I'm just sad that they half destroyed the previous cast that still had a role in this. And only Azazel was getting screwed over every single time, not anyone else. Even Nina got her happy ending because "omg I'll die with you but I believe we won't" and they didn't (wow realistic). She just lost her voice, not a great problem either. They 2 main characters were just laughable. Now I can only hope that zombie Kaisar gets more personality this time around :'D To say it your way though, simple story, simple and bad characters and a lot of bad pacing, especially at the second cour. I don't even know why you assumed that I said this was Azazel's story :'D I just think he was the best character in the whole season and had the best development. Not like no one else had screentime. I was just sad he was the only one getting shit cards all the time. And no, I didn't necessarily believe that Charioce wanted to do something evil though I thought that he'd probably have a tragic past, but I didn't expect that somehow he turned out to be a nice little boy, who obviously has no idea how to handle situations as to not turn both demons and angels against him, because really, what a better idea than make both races go into a war against you when you are only trying to defeat the thing they all want gone? At least, he would be more interesting if he had a deeper goal and not the veil of a poor, tragic hero who no one understands his pain, awww so sad. The romance was just bad, I honestly cannot get why people can't see that. She went from square 1 to square 10 in minutes and decided to screw over the world, her friends, the missions she was entrusted with just so she can talk to him again (while getting rejected even) and have more make out time. She never even tried to think about anyone else except her crush who made her feel so safe in the FEW times they met. And don't confuse things. I can like characters without liking a relationship and I liked Charioce for being a true douche for a big portion of this series and Nina was ok for half of it; 90% of my disappointment lies in the second half. Getting forcefed this romance just made me roll my eyes in almost every episode because it definitely was not simple and not natural, just there for the drama and their development was just as bad in the end. Eiiither way, it's always nice to have different opinions. Have a nice day c: Daniel_Naumov said: And you call yourself a "review" something?? "I thought that he'd probably have a tragic past, but I didn't expect that somehow he turned out to be a nice little boy, who obviously has no idea how to handle situations as to not turn both demons and angels against him" ^ Charioce is my favorite character and I was disappointed that we didn't get backstory or flashback of his past. He did have a tragic past, he is an unwanted bastard child of the king and the only thing he had in his life was his mother. We don't know how much he had to go through before he became king but it definitely wasn't easy because no one would welcome him unless he proved himself to be worthy of the throne. Whenever Bahamut appears what did demons and gods do? seal him, not kill him. The gods had an ancient artifact that could be turned into a weapon on par with Bahamut's power but they didn't bother to do so. Watch episode 5 again about Charioce's conversation with Kaisar, he doesn't give a damn if mankind, gods, and demons cooperated, he knows they were forced to, still that day many lives were lost, this situation could have been avoided if gods and demons were cooperating but oh well. None of them was worthy of protecting mankind so he took it upon himself to protect his people and make them powerful. Sure he will go to Lucifer and Gabriel and tell them "hey lucifer sama and gabriel sama I found a way to slay Bahamut by building an ancient weapon" and they would let him get on with his plans with interfering. Gods that neglected mankind and demons that killed mankind, in his lifetime he has seen how they dealt with Bahamut and yeah he was sealed because of Favaro not because of demons and gods. So he was right about not telling either of them. "The romance was just bad, I honestly cannot get why people can't see that. She went from square 1 to square 10 in minutes" not really. The romance was very simple. episode 3 they met for the first time and Charioce obviously was interested in her. Episode 6 he saved her and picked up her groceries no man ever did that for her. The entire festival date including the dance was enough to make them fall deeper in love. The rest is history. "decided to screw over the world, her friends, the missions she was entrusted with just so she can talk to him again" what missions? only one mission she failed and who said characters aren't allowed to make mistakes, in fact Azazel screwed up more than she did. She saved Azazel. She tried to help when his demon rebellion failed. She helped Jeanne escape prison. In ep 13 Charioce was right there in front of her she could have stayed with him but nope she went and saved her friends instead wiping out half of him army. She helped reunite Jeanne and Mugaro. She is allowed to think about her friends and help them but not think about the man she loves and try to help him? the reason she screwed up in ep 19 plan was because Charioce promised he would tell her of his plans, they can't simply kill the king they would be on the run for their entire lives as king slayers and they didn't know the bracelet couldn't be taken off. I don't get those that blame Nina for everything when the only mistake she did was she didn't follow the plan in episode 19. She got rejected because Charioce was lying to her for her safety, she is a fugitive she can't suddenly appear out of nowhere in the castle while the onyx guards are chasing after her. "I was just sad he was the only one getting shit cards all the time." because it was mostly Azazel's choices that screwed him over. He forced a clueless girl into a rebellion that she had no clue about nor got her consent and she ended up in jail because of him. Not to mention his comrades died because of his bad plan. Azazel "getting screwed" is what required for a character like him to develop. What made Azazel more likable for me was his relationship with Mugaro and nothing else. Mugaro's death was the thing that can "redeem" Azazel and change his character completely. And that's all I have to say, have a good day. |

Bahamut's spirit "might" be alive but Charioce destoryed it's physical form. I believe if there is a season 3 it will focus on Favaro trying to free Amira from Bahamut and killing Bahamut's spirit. It's easier to take down Bahamut as a spirit than in his physical form. Also, the world would be in a better situation after the battle much better than Genesis since mankind will no longer be looked at as weak and I think demons and humans will be on better terms and no more demons attacking humans villages and killing them for fun and no more humans abusing demons. It's wrong to say everything he did as king was for nothing. Mankind is in a great position now and Bahamut will no longer be a threat as far as we know. We'll see if there is a 3rd season and I am almost sure Bahamut won't appear in his physical form again but in spirit that way it would be easier to kill him and free Amira. His spirit could be in any form not necessarily a dragon since his physical form was destoryed. Mappa won't keep on repeating the same Bahamut scenario every season there will be a twist next time. |

I don't think it would make sense to be able to kill Bahamut in it's "spirit" form, if it even has one. I mean, if they can kill a spirit, why can't they kill Bahamut while he's sealed? yaya_90 said: It's wrong to say everything he did as king was for nothing. Mankind is in a great position now. This doesn't change the fact that he ultimately failed in his mission. It's weird that nobody was questioning his reign in the end. And i highly doubt we will get to see Charioce again in season 3, so... yaya_90 said: Bahamut will no longer be a threat as far as we know. Only for now. He wouldn't be a threat if Charioce didn't break the seal anyways. Again, just saying... Bahamut was always a threat. Better kill him while he is weak rather than wait until Bahamut gets powerful with time and breaks the seal on his own, the seal was gonna BREAK any way in the future, that's why the scientist and onyx captain got worried because Bahamut was gonna come out someday he isn't gone for good. What are the gods going to do? seal him? they couldn't do anything last time if you've noticed in Genesis final episode not only angels were weakening but gods too "they were falling on the ground" and demons? they'll leave it to the gods or when forced will try to block Bahamut's attacks but fail. Favaro saved them all last time. Bahamut was gonna destroy the world in the present or in the future if it weren't for Charioce and Dromos. He destroyed his physical form so we can't confirm yet if he is gone for good or not because no one has ever destroyed Bahamut's physical form he was always sealed. As far as anyone knows, Charioce defeated Bahamut in front of everyone. He is a hero he did something neither the gods or demons will ever do, he made mankind powerful, why would anyone question him. We will most likely see him again if Season 3 continues after Virgin Soul because he is the king of mankind. |

| I'm undecided if I should lower the score even more. I basically only kept watching because I was hoping for Favaro to appear and when he finally did he was just a side-character. A few "important" dialogues and that's it. Kaisar, Azazel and Rita more or less made the first half enjoyable but it simply wasn't what I was hoping for in a sequel. The second half was getting more ridiculous with every episode. Kaisar is a zombie now (is he even himself at this point?). Amira should be gone for real (even if Favaro said Bahamut wasn't dead yet) sadly. Would be funny if Bacchus and Sofiel would get closer but that's not really the point of the story. This is done, isn't it? I guess they wanted to keep the chances for a third season up but what are we looking at here? Either the entire plot of S2 was for nothing and Bahamut + Amira are still alive which is going to be the plot of S3. Or just Favaro doing random shit in S3 because there is no Bahamut anymore and obviously bounties are not a thing anymore. Both would be equally disappointing. I guess I'll leave it at 6/10 for the first half but this second half really was a major let down. |

And even if they don't, he's blind. Literally, what is he going to do? Develop his political philosophies or something? |

| I haven't been this disappointed with a sequel since Psycho Pass. So Charioce gets away with everything because he's the hero? That makes no sense whatsoever. Both demons and gods should still have a grudge against him. And that stupid dance with Nina at the end just pisst me off. The entire season their romance has been the focus of the show and it was and still is a terrible romance. The fact that the writers tried to wrap everything up so neatly so that their romance survived just made the ending even worse. That last image with Kaiser was absolutely terrifying. Kaiser deserved better than that. I give this show a 3/10. Would definitely recommend Genesis but I'll make sure to tell people to avoid Virgin Soul like the plague. |

| so king brings back bahamut in order to kill it with ancient weapon, sacrificing all kinds of things and according to Favaro he STILL ain't dead? Did they do that so the anime can have a potential 3rd season? and a undead kaiser at the end creeped me out |

| Well, fall season kinda made me forget to finish this oops. But I'm glad I did. Charioce didn't die... I'm disappointed. He and Nina get in a "can't see, can't hear but love" relationship. I still don't feel it. It was kinda weird when Kaisar died and they just kept looking at him like "we're judging you". During the whole thing I just felt very bad for Rita and then in the end it got fucked up lol. Bahamut still alive somewhere, it was all for nothing, congrats. |

| Wow, such a good ending! They really blew up their budget on the final two eps and it shows. Bittersweet conclusion to the outstanding series. They incorporated many mature themes (concept of guilt, loss, sacrifice, vengeance or despair) and surpassed the first season by miles. This is how all anime series should be conclude - in a way that's very satisfying to viewers. Haven't seen so great fantasy anime in a while. Really liked character developement here and all the losses were well thought. Bahamut had to be viewed as symbol of the struggle, a metaphor of human/angel/demon nature and warmongering if you will, a tool of punishment. As such, it's only fitting he cannot die. I really liked the end. Amira x Nina scene was well-done and the closing dance was both romantic and poetic. Now I am glad that Charioce lived for what all that he did for his people. In the end it was Kaisar who stopped the war but the moment when both Jeanne and Azazel realized Charioce wasn't the villain they made him into was also important. Guess there would be peace for quite some time. 8/10 The series was really good but its conclusion alone (last few episodes) was so well done it made it into something unforgettable. There were some problems along the way but overall it was well worth of my time and I definitely recommend it. |

| Nice expected end that's not rushed. Didn't expect Nina can join Charioce on that materializer, epic run Nina run (lol the pun) and dragon fight tho bit short. I really wanted another dance & they answered so happy, tho it's an odd combo of blind king waltzing with mute dragon. Well Bahamut is greatly weakened but seems alive, which means still hope for Amira x Favaro. S2 had a fun group of distinct characters, and slightly better story than s1 (really liked the Cinderella romance thread, that ties with the 3 races conflicts & the finale, & the Onyx/technology thread & prison life). It's hard to beat S1's Amira and Favaro Kaiser epic antics tho, really S2 needs more Favaro perhaps. Favaro sees a real Bahamut claw. Rip Kaiser, or not really lol. The part where Kaiser's hand held troubled Rita was cute. Sadly Mugaro didnt achieve much & died young, but he still served to bring Azazel & Jean together, cool battle-ship right there. Sofiel & Mr.Drunk maybe fun, but I don't mind who goes where with who or dies when (dont care enough to rate based on these). Both Azazel & Kaiser's been idealistic idiots for awhile. Did wish they could've grown out of that...oh well. Lots of tragedy with this group, nice seeing them grow & pull thru. Tho the 3 races found some peace again thanks to fighting Bahamut, I'd expect lots of friction with Charioce & demons still, maybe s3 can address that. |

| The biggest issue I had with the end was Kaisar's death, but since he's technically not dead anymore [and hopefully retained his mind/soul], I feel a lot better about the whole thing. The wheels did still fall off a bit in those last three episodes or so, but the ending was solid. Left it open for more Favaro adventures, Bahamut lived so that we could have hope that Amira was alive as well [sequel!?]... Jeanne's character turned into shit, just like in the finale of the previous season. I can't believe that SHE is the one who killed Kaisar. That really pissed me of considering their comradery and friendship, and her lack of reaction to murdering him was just so annoying. My god. Also, Charioce staying king made sense since the HUMANS would have the only say in this, and as far as they know, he's a big ass hero. As morally gray as he was, I personally have no issue with this. Yes, he enslaved the demons, but he had no say in anything that his subjects did to them. And if you remember correctly, in the previous season the demons TERRORIZED humanity, which is why the humans were so terrible to the demons in this season. Hatred breeds hatred. The gods in this series are seriously the worst characters/species, so I could not care less if humanity doesn't apologize to them. They're the gods, they need to be protective of humanity and do their damn job instead of whining about it like Gabriel did. I give it an 8/10 because I loved pretty much every second of this until the last few episodes, and the ending was good. |

| First of all, 2nd season was a mistake... This is the type of show that should've ended in one season only, and yeah i'm so pissed because Charioce still alive eventhough he's blind now but still he deserved to be dead for what he has done, and Nina has been annoying since he met the King. So many victims caused by that cuck because he revived the Bahamut but turns out the Bahamut still alive, what a heroic bullshit. And the whole romance between The King and Nina is just complete crap, i think there's something wrong with the romance in this series for example bacchus x Sofiel ? why would the author decided to pair them up ? i'd rather ship Sofiel x Azazel now that makes sense. Not to mention Kaisar died to protect the King. I'm so mad right now. The only reason why i kept watching this series is Sofiel plus i get to see more Rita so yeah. The art style is totally eyegasmic such a waste for mediocre anime series like this. I wouldn't mind for another season if it's about trying to pull Amira out off the Bahamut, otherwise don't even bother making the 3rd season. Overall score 5/10, i'd give 8 but the king still alive and kickin' well then |

| What was the point of this season. Charioce, who pretty much spearheaded the kill every non-human in the planet plan, lived. AND he got the girl?? even after imprisoning jeanne because she wouldn't let him kill her son??? in the end, jeanne's suffering was all for nothing because HER SON STILL DIED. all to please charioce. Oh, and the reason the first BD of season 2 sold a lot is probably because of GBF players. the first bd contains a promo code to recruit SSR Nina. |

| Sloppy, sloppy, sloppy development since the halfway line... Was just so hyped from the first 10 ep or so, and then it just all crumbled into a zero-logic mess with whole clusters of episodes that were cringe-worthy at best towards the middle-end phase. What kept me interested was the possible ways in which they could potentially balance out Charioce's brutality throughout the season with our protagonist falling in love with him.. It was resolved in the worst possible manner, by just not resolving it at all. Plot just didn't exist more or less.. Such disappoint, don't even know if there'll be a 3rd season after this but I probs will hop off this hype train at this point |

| I'm just a little mad that nothing happen to Charioce and that he lives happily after what he did to the demon. Why do they needed to kill Kaisar ;_; I'm hoping to see a third season with less forcing romance because except that it was very entertaining |

| Although not as epic as the previous season, the final of this season, maybe it is a bit hasty and there is no real final battle, but one thing I liked is that whoever died is really dead except for the extreme rescue by Kaisar. Well, this circumstance makes me so pleased to me, though all or almost paid something at the end of the count, this is a factor I really enjoyed. Too bad the quality of the drawings was not so high, it deserves more of this last episode. Ultimately, this series has served to give another characterization to the characters of the previous series. I hope to make a third season of this show. As far as I am concerned, I confirm the vote I wanted to give it earlier, or 8/10. |

| I don't see why it was necessary to have enslaved all those demons, could have done everything without that, Chris would have saved himself a big headache and a lower bodycount with out that but wouldn't have the drama without right? Nina of course is a silly little girl who falls for this dictator since he's cute. Favaro sidelined as supporting character didn't help me love this anime either. Of course in the end Chris survives and shocker, Bahamut still lives meaning everything that happened here was pointless, just to have that "sweet" ending of that final shot of a blind Chris and mute Nina dancing. And why isn't she living in the castle with him now? Still bumming with that drunk god? Bleh. Zombie Kaiser? Expected it after his death, didn't see Rita letting him stay that way, not sure how I feel about it, he must be sentient though right? He just looked pale like she is, not an automaton like the throwaway ghouls. |

| was good at the start, the rise of human over the gods and demons, the mysterious child etc but the reason behind it and characters motives are badly written and after all these sacrifuces, they said Bahamut is not completely destroyed, still preparing for another season? |
