| 1) Full Metal Panic? Fumoffu Instead of your expected J-Rock with crazy guitar/drum solos and screamy vocals, you have a mellow yet catchy OP and ED theme that in my opinion are fantastic at giving a peek into the high school life, romance, and comedy that the series portrays. Well-suited for its cause, this is by far my fave OST. 2) Code Geass** Yeah, yeah, this time it's the J-Rock we expect. But this time, it makes sense. The OP and ED themes for both the first and second season are easily reflective of the series most of us have come to love. If you actually look at translations, the themes have deep meanings that can easily be connected to the complexities of CG itself. Moreover, the many, many instrumentals that take up the rest of the OST were put in all the right scenes, at all the right times, giving all the right effects, and obtaining the reactions expected. This OST is atmospheric to the series and really was the cherry-on-top. **(Bad me, this is sorta biased; but I love FLOW) |

| Giant Robo for sure; easily one of the most amazing OSTs I've ever listened to. Big O is another standout. A superb mix of jazzy tunes and quiet reflection. Some other great ones that come to mind are Last Exile, Haibane Renmei, Eureka Seven, and Samurai Champloo. |

| Any Yuki Kajiura and SEL bootleg and Cyberia OSTs are de best for me...so far. But there is a beautiful song from UFO Ultramaiden Valkyrie called Princess of December. Any attempts to find the mp3 so far has been virtually impossible although it's around on youtube. It is such a sad song with sweet lyrics. There's a mai-hime AMV with de song ^^ |
