What do you think happened to Magane?
| So I just finished the final episode of Re:Creators earlier today and I even waited through the entire credits thinking that Magane would be hidden away somewhere. She has done some 4th wall breaks before so I thought it to be quite fitting... Then, the episode just ends. She was only mentioned in the episode once, without even a single shot of her. This is where the question of her whereabouts come in. After looking through the comment sections for the episode on some website, I found a couple of theories behind her disappearance. It could be that she went off to some far away country as she was last seen in a plane and is currently on vacation. Personally, this is what I would like to believe in. Some people are also saying that she'll get caught in no time since her face is well-known all throughout japan, possibly even the world, and she has lost her powers. I think this is quite unlikely as even if she did lose all her powers, she should still be able to outwit most people. She was shown to be quite smart, plus it seems like she has also accumulated quite a lot of money. Not to mention that she did still have like a few weeks before all her powers disappeared. Lastly, people have been saying that she disappeared in exchange for setsuna to appear in this world. I think that would be extremely out of character for her. She might've helped but it's not like she became some self-sacrificing saint. They have also pointed out what Setsuna was saying by the grave, and while that is open to interpretation, I took it aws her thinking that the summoned setsuna is actually the real one. I doubt that was magane in disguise. So, what do you guys think of this? She alive? Imprisoned? Simply on vacation? Or is she dead/ceased to exist? |

They could've let it slide cos if she didn't help, the world, or all the worlds rather, would've been destroyed anyway. There's also the question of her whereabouts which even we, the viewers, don't know about. She probably had some countermeasures thought-up already just in case as well. Her powers, albeit situational, can have the same effects as some of Altair's greatest feats. Namely fate reversal and plot destruction. Maybe if they still had Selesia's cage, I think that could take her if Selesia can catch her. It would've been interesting to watch ofc, but I doubt that they'll be able to track her down, kill or apprehend her, and still have time to jump back into their worlds, and essentially all Magane has to do is to hold out til they lose their powers, in which case Magane will have an overwhelming advantage as that battle would depend a lot more on wits as everyone has essentially lost most of their brute force. Not to mention that Magane has accumulated quite a large amount of fortune, and can most likely gain even more if she so desires, and with the right amount of money, coupled with her wits and the fact that everyone would've lost their power, she'll win(I mean they would have the government's help but if Magane somehow gets a hold of, idk, the US government for example, then she's gonna win.) One other thing that she could do is gain access to nukes and threaten to nuke the entire world, basically taking all of earth hostage. There's also the risk of once again disturbing the yoke of the world as such an endeavor would most likely lead to an all out battle if Magane chooses to face them instead of hiding til she has the overwhelming advantage. |

| She probably flew to Syria to mess with ISIS (just speculation) Remember, she enjoys manipulating people in the most dire circumstances, and finds people killing each other amusing. |

| She is definitely alive and flew to another place in Japan or even to another country. The biggest problem for her is that she could be easily identified as her looks are quite discint (and I am not talking about clothes). Maybe season 2 will be about fighting Magane (unlikely). |

| Is there rly going to be an s2 for this series? Personally I did some looking around and I did find one website claiming that it is confirmed. Even including premiere dates and all but damn did that website reek of CNN... I mean fake news(Was that a bad joke to pull lol) seriously though, check it out fo yourself, https://lifekino.club/recreators-season-2.html I browsed around the website for a bit and other than announcing the 2nd season of re:creators and apparently Made in Abyss, Kakegurui, even Youkoso Jitsuryoku Shijou Shugi no Kyoushitsu e, and even seemingly completed series such as suku suka, shingeki no Bahamut s3 is apparently a thing, seikai suru kado, and many more. Like, if this are all true (Which they probably aren't) then 2018 is going to be the year of the sequels for anime. I want a lot of these to happen but I mean come on, it's honestly too good to be true, and some more reputable sites have re:creators s2 on the TBA section... which could very well never happen. What do you guys think though? Am I being too pessimitic and untrusting, or is my skepticism warranted? Oh and one more thing. Most of the "trailers" for these apparent new seasons that they have were all scenes from the previous one(Haven't seen the trailers for most of the stuff that I watch but I do watch them so I should be able to tell lol) As if that wasn't enough, their showing a "top 5 anime like trinity seven" video in place of Trinity Seven's second season... Ye... |
