I'm not usually hyped for sequels but Kino no Tabi

After Mushishi got a sequel some years ago i was like >tfw KnT sold way less, no way it will get a sequel, those Shaft movies are the best it gets

But here is it, starting next season, and ready to take on the top 50 i hope. Studio Lerche will have officially saved anime if so

Nothing tbh I don't see anything interesting coming out in fall
The word elitist is stupid since it's just used by people who can't defend their favorite shows and use it on people who criticize their favorite shows.

Bitch, maybe, if we discount sequels. If we count sequels then Shokugeki or Umaru.

Not really seeing much that I'd want to watch as its airing, though. Kind of thinking of putting off seasonals because I feel like I end up overburderning myself and this seems to be the best possible season to do it. Nothing I'm ultra-excited for or anything, just a couple of sequels and one thing that piques my interest.

Kujira no Kora wa Sajou ni Utau looks also interesting, from what I saw in the PV.

Having read and loved the first three volumes of The Ancient Magus' Bride I'm really excited for that adaptation. In terms of sequels I'm excited for Food Wars season 3, March Comes In Like a Lion season 2, and Kekkai Sensen season 2. Next season looks like it will easily be the best season this year

Well Dies Irae was an absolute masterpiece but you should never expect too much from VN adaptations so I'll keep my hype level reasonable

Def looking forward to Himouto S2 and Imouto sae Ireba Ii too. Mahoutsukai no Yome should be a decent watch as well

Food Wars 3
Inuyashika
Juuni Taisen
Girls' Last Tour
RoboMasters
The Ancient Magus' Bride

I don't plan to watch much in the Fall, so I'll be missing out on a lot.

Ancient Magus Bride is a given.
Shobitch because the voice actress makes a good bitch.
And I've already read the Manga for Ousama Game, but I'm going to watch it just for the fun of it.

^ This. I'm extremely skeptical of the show considering the staff and all the terrible directions this could go, but gotdamn, the original anime is my all time favorite and the LNs are pretty decent, I've gotta get hyped.

This season in general is really weird for me, because normally all the sequels that come out are for shows I don't care about or haven't seen. Every now and then, I get 1, MAYBE 2 sequels that I want to see.

This year I have 7...what is life?

There's nothing that stands out to me, i'll just watch some shows I missed in previous seasons.

I find watching seasonal anime difficult because you have to wait for the episodes and I don't get engrossed as much compared to binge watching.

Ranked with the one I look forward to the most at the top, the least at the bottom.

Houseki no Kuni - The main character is an immortal and genderless lifeform tasked to create a natural history encyclopedia. Speaking as a biologist, the natural history encyclopedia narrative angle fascinates me. Speaking as a fantasy and sci-fi buff, the world-building aspects and details that the author and the production staff must imagine and build from the ground up to cater to the kind of culture immortal, genderless beings entail is mind-boggling. This is the one of the truest 50/50 series for me. I am passionate about the living world since before I entered grade school. I've been reading sci-fi and fantasy novels since I was 7. Both of these topics are really really close to my heart and depending on whether it delivers or flounders, this could be one of my favorite series ever or one of my most hated.

Shoujo Shuumatsu Ryokou - I mean, just read the synopsis. It's brewing with potentials from digging deep into the human psyche to tugging at heartstrings. It reminds me of that one interview with one of my country's former rebel leaders and when asked about the tortures he had to face, he said in some ways he welcomed it because he was placed in solitary confinement and it was one of the only ways he could interact with people. How powerful must isolation be that it could drive a hardened man into welcoming torture and bodily harm just so he could interact with people. Heck, it reminds me of Cast Away (2000). Well at least in this story there are two of them struggling to survive together. If they do this right, then we could be in one hell of a journey.

Just Because! - Just because. Graduation and the resulting separation is one of those stories that just hits so close to home. The kind of raw, visceral emotion they evoke in me is so strong. Heck, I remember tearing up when I watched the final episode of Toradora!, when Minori made that little speech in the dub about how if they shine bright enough, they'll see each other no matter how far apart they will be as they chase their dreams. Of all the things that could have brought me to tears, it was that little speech.

Dia Horizon - The preview was nice. That's it. We'll see. Somebody please fix the synopsis though.

Kujira no Kora wa Sajou ni Utau: I just like shoujo. mate.

Konohana Kitan: Idk the cover image just looks cute.

Osake wa Fuufu ni Natte kara: I feel a deep psychological bond with the shitfaced chick on the cover.

Dies Irae will be something that everybody and their mother will watch latter.

Anyway for sequel there is obviously YuYuYu Yusha no Shou and I want to see how much WaSuYu is compared to movie ver.

I also want to be hyped for UQ Holder but considering how butchered Negima is I won't hold too much.
Kickstarter for Rokujouma is fully funded. Good work everyone. Lets wait for the result of our hard work together.
