| Haruki ez she has the biggest character development, Kei is 2nd, love Souma but her had no development as in zero, I mean can't blame her, her ability made it impossible for her to have a development |

| There's no need to even think: Souma, the only character who doesn't feel like a robot or a piece of cardboard and the only one who managed to make me feel at least something for her while the rest, being one-dimentional robots, simply failed to, not even hate. Haruki's so-called character development was laughable, primarily because her starting point was a total emotionless robot - something that was completely lacking any degree of believability to begin with, especially for a person, that's why her acquiring a modicum of emotions starting with jealousy (which is irony in and of itself) would've been superb for a robot, but was a total failure of character development for a person, as far as I'm concerned. Oh, and her so-called character development when she spent a whole goddamn episode deciding what to choose for sick Kei was so mind-bogglingly boring that I feel a chill down my spine even now every time I recall it. In fact, it takes the cake as the most boring episode of at least the past couple of seasons for me. Oh well, all of that only proves how riddled with flaws the show was from the get-go. Watchable, to be exact, but the patience and the degree of suspension of disbelief it requires really try your limits. |
