Each season has it. This Fall seems to be going to present a handful of good candidates for the favourite of the community. Sometimes, one of the most anticipated title of the season ends up being a flop. In other circumstance, there's a not so popular anime that take everyone by surprise and ends up being one of the most beloved anime of the season. In my opinion, Mahoutsukai no Yome will be a major hit of that season. I've read the manga and it was charming and unique. A slice of life anime about Celtic Mythology along with romance and drama. I'm pretty sure this community will be enthusiastic for watching an anime unique like this. What do you think? Is there an anime that should get more attention? |

I guess Gintama and the next season of Kekkai Sensen are gonna be (normally) the hits for this Fall. Any of the other shows being a hit will be some serious surprise to me. This summer was a letdown, most of the shows are boring except for the comedy ones: Tsuredere Children and Aho girl. |

Love Live and Osomatsu BDs will sell like cakes. Sequel i think Gintama and 3-gatsu no Lion. Non sequel Shoujo Shuumatsu Ryokou has the potential to be a hit. |

Any one of the two I'm anticipating the most, hopefully. le_halfhand_easy said: [snip] Houseki no Kuni - The main character is an immortal and genderless lifeform tasked to create a natural history encyclopedia. Speaking as a biologist, the natural history encyclopedia narrative angle fascinates me. Speaking as a fantasy and sci-fi buff, the world-building aspects and details that the author and the production staff must imagine and build from the ground up to cater to the kind of culture immortal, genderless beings entail is mind-boggling. This is the one of the truest 50/50 series for me. I am passionate about the living world since before I entered grade school. I've been reading sci-fi and fantasy novels since I was 7. Both of these topics are really really close to my heart and depending on whether it delivers or flounders, this could be one of my favorite series ever or one of my most hated. Shoujo Shuumatsu Ryokou - I mean, just read the synopsis. It's brewing with potentials from digging deep into the human psyche to tugging at heartstrings. It reminds me of that one interview with one of my country's former rebel leaders and when asked about the tortures he had to face, he said in some ways he welcomed it because he was placed in solitary confinement and it was one of the only ways he could interact with people. How powerful must isolation be that it could drive a hardened man into welcoming torture and bodily harm just so he could interact with people. Heck, it reminds me of Cast Away (2000). Well at least in this story there are two of them struggling to survive together. If they do this right, then we could be in one hell of a journey. [snip] |

Uh, it's fine, none of the idol series that are airing in Fall are new or unknown in Japan, if anything Sunshine!! S2 will be super popular both in Japan and certain communities in the West. SideM had a new mobile game released in Japan recently so that will surely boost up the popularity of the Anime adaption in Japan (btw SideM is SUPER popular in Japan, it having an Anime before Million Live! can tell you that) |

Otsumatsu-san S2...Damn, I'm fucking down. Forget about SnS S3 for all I care! Actually I'm more of looking forward to LLS S2 too, I hope it could deliver something different aside from the S1 that was quite evidently close to LL. Seriously... I might not watch SnS S3 since... Ohh well, the manga seems to be approaching the ending, so in my opinion I'll just read the manga and once it's done, I'll watch the anime. More UMARU!!!!!!!!! Damn, that Kino no Tabi looks quite good, cover wise though :) Another Gintama ready to take another Top 10? I'm reading for the salty threads ;) Now that you mention it, I'll be looking forward to the new DC Movie and Onii-sama movie too! Fuck, I'm ready to witness how awesome onii-sama is again! |

Obviously another Gintama taking top 10. |
But it's important to remember that a movie review is subjective;it only gives you one person's opinion. http://www.classzone.com/books/lnetwork_gr08/page_build.cfm?content=analyz_media&ch=30 It doesn't matter if you like LoGH,Monster etc.If you are a jobless or college/school dropout living in your mom basement, you are still an unintelligent loser. Taste in anime does not make you a better person. If elitist don't exist, casual pleb and shit taste also don't exist. |

Mahoutsukai no Yome will be the big one. Some other potentials but Netflix/Anime Strike are getting in the way... I know some people trying to fill the shonen hole after BnHA ends will migrate to Black Clover, but to be honest I don't have high hopes for it. |

Gintama, Sangatsu S2, Shokugeki S3 and Mahoutsukai no Yome are all pretty safe picks Dies Irae would be AotS if it was actually a faithful adaptation but since that basically never happens with visual novels, I wouldn't get my hopes up If we're talking about sales though, Love Live will obviously rape the charts, even if Sunshine is pretty shit compared to the original series |

The 3rd season of Food Wars and Gintama are probably the safest picks. Out of the animes that are not a sequel... nothing is really standing out to me for now. But new anime is always hard to determine on how good/bad they will be. Since something can look good but turn out bad and vice versa. |

Hoozuki no Reitetsu season 2 - it won't be a huge hit (it's not flashy enough) but it'll be one of the best anime out there in terms of the tone of its humor and the sheer amount of mythology. Inuyashiki - don't know much about it, but it looks like it could be cool. |
...but then again, I unironically like Warau Salesman. |

@Hrybami This thread is confusing. Mahoutsukai no Yome is airing this season. It is currently the summer airing season (aka Summer 2017). The summer season lasts from July to September. The next TV season is Fall/Autumn, which lasts October to December. Is this thread about the current season or the upcoming season? Edit: Nevermind. 'Just realized MAL's seasonal charts are dumb. -.-; |

I believe Mahoutsukai no Yome is in the same situation Violet Evergarden is, a series that has yet to air but had an earlier release, if you know Mahoutsukai no Yome had an OVA (I believe it was more than one and pre-aired episodes) released not too long ago, in the case of Violet Evergarden the first episode was viewed by those in Anime Expo (I believe) before it's release date, it's confusing but in this case Yome airs next season while Violet doesn't air until 2018. Honestly this is all I can give you. |

Shoujo is the superior genre primarily aimed at young people. Harem/isekai are lazy genres that refuse any meaningful innovation. There is no 'Golden Age.' There will always be top-shelf anime. I think the new Shokugeki No Souma is going to be hit because the past two seasons have been really popular. Sequels have an advantage over new animes when it comes to popularity. That being said, I wouldn't be surprised if an anime becomes a sleeper hit like KonoSuba did. |

Dream eater marry when veering off to do some random fan fic shenanigans that never happened after the first few episodes. Yozkaura quartet did a similar thing luckily it got a reboot recently. Pandora Hearts was good but then stuck a gekko ending at the end basically making it impossible to get a second season. even years after the manga completed. and dimension W got an entire arc cut out and characters similar to Deadman Wonderland. Tsugumomo did fine hopefully it did well enough for a season 2 |
