Hi! I'm a big fan of the anime "Ookami to Koushinryou" and was thinking about reading the Light Novels and continue with it.
However, I have a doubt. Should I read it from the very beginning or can I start where the anime left off?
Does the anime miss something important / Is the LN much better than the anime?

Thank you in advance ^^

First of the LN is original so start with that.

Second: anime adapt 1,2,3,5 novels, 4 one was not adapted, but you will be completely fine to start from volume 6.

To your last question: of course the LN is much better, its even completed and fully translated.

Thank you! Then I'll probably read it all from the beginning.

Just in case anyone would read that thread for advice, do NOT follow the advice of starting with volume 6 said above. Volume 4 introduces an important character for later on, that you will not know if you just watched the anime and do that. It also introduces the church of this world and its influence, something that you will need to understand some of the decisions later on.
So either read 4 and then start at 6, or start from volume 1 (best idea).

Not noticing you're missing something important isn't especially something new, so there's nothing strange to it.
