This chapter is how fairy tales motives would work inside Doraemon's universe. Nobita gets a bunch of fairy-tale-realizing-badges that when you wear it, the plot of a fairy tale will happen (loosely) in real life. For example when Nobi use the Peach Boy badge, a dog and a woman that looks like a monkey helps him defeat an Ogre "actually Jan, but close enough". Besides Peach Boy, they also act Urashima and Hanasaka Jiisan. Makes you wonder why the authors went for Doraemon being a robot with a supposedly science fiction premise instead of making him a magical cat. That would be way more fitting to the stories they want to tell, to say nothing about the gadgets.
