Season III practically perfect for me but need to remove this flash forward scene  Its just there for shock value and to look cool. Shakugan was a great tale of love so this scene is unnecessary and distracting to me. Especially when the scene doesn't actually happen later. |

| I've always taken umbrage with episode eight of Another. For a tense, mysterious anime, sending the teenage cast to the beach seemed a strange choice. They don't go to the beach in the novel, so what was the point of going there in the anime? Oh, right - so that the girls can be in their bikinis... Anyway, it was weird. They didn't need it, and it killed the tension that the previous seven episodes had built up so well. I love Another, but my score is a 6, purely because the tension was released way too early, and they unfortunately couldn't build it up again before the climax in episode 11. |
