I have been away from watching anime (since im binge watcher that collect full batch of series) and Im tend to watch currently airing anime.

So Im basically need recommendation for series that Im not be aware of from this year.

Any suggestion is fine (even the airing one so i can keep those in back of my mind) but I would hope for something that doesnt required to have knowledge from prior series (I think i saw couple of anime spin-off recently)
Watching style atm:

1. Mindless Gaming + Anime streaming with dual monitor
2. Focused + Anime binged watching with speed up
3. Couch / Bed Anime watching with large TV
4. Relaxing in virtual cinema with VR.

Probably Tsuki ga Kirei. Shuumatsu is pretty good as well.

Words cannot explain how much I loved this anime. When I started watching anime in general I started with SAO and this reminded me so much of it in the aspect that they are both revolved around a digital universe/game although Sword Art Online took it one step further since they are trapped in the game so you still see relationships develop out of the game with QZGS.

Although it was the first chinese anime i've watched, I was so enticed from the beginning. The art was beautiful and very unexpected from a standalone anime ONA.

My only regret was that there wasn't more episodes and I hope that they think about bringing out a season 2 which I think they might from the way it was left off.

Hope you like it as much as I did :p

For me, it's definitely Kobayashi's Maid Dragon. Scums wish and 3-gatsu no lion are close but Dragon maid is definitely my favourite so far this year from what I've seen.

Also, avoid QZGS like the plague, it doesn't even get gaming right and thinks MMORPGs can be esports. That bothers me so much oh god. It also gives me SAO flashbacks with such an OP MC.

ACCA
Onihei
Tsurezure Children
Sakura Quest
Little Witch Academia
Gabriel Dropout
Kobayashi-san
Koe no Katachi
King's Avatar

3-gatsu is from last year but since people keep bringing it up I'll +1 that too.

Gabriel Dropout, Kuzu no Honkai, and Dragon Maid in that order (but I haven't seen much this year and I also dont understand the hype around Tsuki ga Kirei, I watched like 3 episodes and dropped it.
