De-JaY and divinecow both have special effects on their cursors. Krelian's list does not look too good on the screenshots due to my small little laptop resolution.

Vote in the poll for who you think has the best list design. You do not need to post to say who you voted for, but you can if you really want to. Up to you. Voting closes on the 29th of March at 10 PM GMT + 10.

Congratulations to all participating members and our top 5! Be sure to vote. In two weeks the winner will be announced. Best Anime List Designs for APRIL-MAY BEGIN 1st of April. So be sure to get your list designs done by then if you wanna participate.

This leads to MAL Awards becoming one year old. I wonder if I should do something special next round. I may introduce a newcomer's segment to keep out all these veterans who are on every poll. If anyone has any other suggestions please do send them to me! If you wanna help out, like what SY and cyruz have been doing, please contact me also. I could use help I guess especially if I wanna do more rounds / different categories. As many of you know, I often go over deadline since I'm busy IRL half the time, and then on MAL I have other work next to this... I always forget until someone brings it up on IRC. XD

divinecow got my vote...

it was pretty much a coinflip between de-jay and divinecow for me, but even the light blues and the adorable combination of nia and simon could not overcome the awesomeness of the gif at the bottom of divinecow's list...i was viewing his list in a darkened room the first time i saw it and it really adds to the effect... :D

I actually do like Drac's list btw.

And I don't really.. sorta annoying that "nia" = auto list win?

disagree, that blue with is better to watch then the colours at dracs list. 1920x1200 res and that dots are an instant "GODDAMN! I'M BLIND! =_=" for me. I can't watch that list for 30 seconds without becoming dizzy and I'm wondering why this only affects me...
the Nia list is different, I can watch it for hours with a fine feeling.

anyway, Krelian chosen since I like his list combined with the strong typography standpoint the most.

sorry Um, Talon I think you misunderstood...

xD Remember Divinecow's Nia list that won last time? I'm sorry but that list hurt MY eyes beyond all pain. It was much more dizzying than Drac's list. All I meant was this Nia list, compared to the other one that won, is much much more beautiful.

But, I also know you hate drac's list, but I find it to look quiet fabulous. :>

it was just ugly imo, but apparently only a few people agree with me.. xD
It was the pink, and the black swirls... meh

Your current list is really nice, so I guess that is all that matters? (and yet, it's losing out. for shame.. though you have tough competition)

Divinecow's is pretty nifty, though I must admit, out of my competition, De-Jay's is my favourite. So losing to him doesn't bother me. XD

That said it'd be nice to get a few more votes... well, at least I'm not in last place. :P
