Thanks for bringing that in here! Hmmm,.. I can live with the new art style if that's how it's going to be, though it can't really compete with the hyper glamourousness of S01, and Hotarou's eyes seem to turn out a bit weird :P |

Manga don't really have shading and lighting on the same level as anime, and backgrounds are not very prominent either. So, they both look like how they do in the manga (I'm as far with the manga as there are English translations available). Still I feel that S01 hit the overall atmosphere a bit better than what I've seen from S02 in the trailer. S01 had overexposed look from a photographic perspective, and S02 seems to appear a bit too dark by comparison. |

| 20 minutes seriously too much, i hope it's 15 minutes at max... or at least. they cramped the story rather than dragging it... so 20 minutes can contain at least 4 chapters or so... and is it me that think visually much better than previous season? the animation is more lifely... |

| Not too happy about the design change, but it could've been worse. The animation quality is what worries me. I don't think it's going to look as nice as season 1. |

Artstyle is more simple, less detailed, maybe to support more kinetic comedy. Simpler characters designs are probably easier to animate. |

They don't look that much different though but the different tone for her hair really sticks out. This was pretty much a hidden gem in 2016 so the second season is definitely deserved imo. Hype. Wonder if the romance will progress a bit, I am not expecting much but it would be nice. Not very happy about the duration cut. |

I don't think it was anime original, but the director did took quite some liberties with the interpretation, and virtually all manga-true Kokonotsu x Hotarou romance was noticeably omitted. The manga has: 1. Saya > Kokonotsu 2. Kokonotsu > Hotarou 3. Kokonotsu > Saya 4. Hotarou > Kokonotsu 5. Tou > Hotarou 6. Saya > Hotarou In that order of prevalence, and with 4. being weird, because Hotarou is weird. Meanwhile the first season anime had: 1. Kokonotsu > Saya 2. Saya > Kokonotsu 3. (...) 4. MASSIVE GAP 5.
