| Why is this show under the radar? Is it the animation quality? The overall story? |
| I dunno man, maybe the people who drop the show after seeing the first episode (obviously this is stupid) or the other people who don't understand anything lol In my opinion i find extremely interesting this type of dynamic, each episode has a completely different story, maybe most people don't like it for some reason Pd: There are many people in the world no? |
| Herd mentality. Once a show starts getting low ratings from the first reaction it's almost impossible to recover however good the rest of the show might be. I think it's a real shame. 18if isn't exactly the best show I have ever seen but it's creative and has good cinematography and if you ask me it definitely doesn't deserve the abysmally low rating it currently has. |

| Probably because it doesn't explain itself alot of times. so far i've watched till ep 3 and got annoyed at a bunch of unexplained things already. |
| I kind of get that dementia/mindfuck type of vibe from this anime at times. Like there is some wtf moments, and I have a feeling as the anime progresses there will be more wtf moments, and people don't tend to understand these type of psychological/dementia anime. So far I watched 4 episodes, about to watch episode 5. I'm surprised how quick these are getting dubbed as well in English, unless they are doing both simultaneously? I've been watching them dubbed. |
| I suspect the unexplained stuff is there for a reason as to not spoil the ending. One thing comes to mind while watching this which would explain a lot...the main character could be in a coma and has been asleep this whole time. We never actually see him in the real world and every time he "wakes up" he's still in the dream world. So one could conclude that he's in a similar state as the sleeping beauties. Either that or he's a dream made up by the doctor's sister (I'm guessing that's who lily is). Whatever the case may be I'm sure the show will make more sense towards the end. Honestly though, aside from explaining why the main character is always in the dream world I think they've done a good job explaining other aspects of the show. |
