| My first words when I saw this on MAL was, "aww, fuck." Unfortunately, I'm not even kidding. I don't hate the series, but it's just, eh. When I saw the second movie in theatres, I found it very ordinary, and that's so far been the only time I've seen an anime in theatres and not came out loving the experience. |

| Honestly, I'd only suggest you to pick up if you really like the series, and want to know how it ends. Trust me, the manga is a pure disappointment. I'll only watch it, because I like to complete things that I started. |

Fairy Tail, has a poorly written story with a large cast of mostly bad characters, and lacks emotion or even good fights and jokes.
