| THIS IS AN ANIME ONLY DISCUSSION POST. DO NOT DISCUSS THE MANGA BEYOND THIS EPISODE. ---------------------------------------- Well, I thought this episode was fun. Aoba and her ideas never ceases to amuse me. I can't picture her in those animals suits though... For what's worth, we got a lot of focus on character designs again. Obviously, it's an important concept related to game making so I'm not surprised. There's also some emotions this episode. I want to give Aoba a hug D: |

| Aoba moving up in the company. She managed to make some good designs even if it was with a little help it's still a great achievement for her. Tho there where some troubles along the way but it was nice to see, except for Aoda crying that is. Also the misunderstandings in this episode where funny. |

| I loved the second half, the serious moments in New Game are always nicely executed to make me feel for the characters, feels real. As soon as Yagami turned away from Aoba in disappointment from getting rejected, it gave me goosebumps. |
| Cute opening and ending, especially the visuals of the ending ^^ To my surprise this was a more serious episode,I could still enjoy it more or less and I'm glad that Aoba and Yagami decided to work together in the end. |

| Nice episode. Loved the Aoba animal cosplay parts. <3 Surprisingly mood heavy episode, that moment when Ko looked away and when she lashed out on Aoba and eventually when Aoba cried made me really feel sad for both of them. :( I'm glad that everything was resolved and when Ko came back to help Aoba, I just couldn't stop smiling. :) Good luck to Aoba as a character designer and it's really nice how she's working as a team with Ko. Also, the Hajime misunderstandings this episode were really funny. |

| I thought this was a very good episode. Part of it was more serious and emotional than you expect from New Game!! but that's OK because it makes the show seem more real. I liked the resolution where both Kou and Aoba were made co-designers because that made more sense. If Aoba simply took the job from Kou, who is obviously much more talented at this point, well that wouldn't have seemed real either. So I thought the humor and emotion were nicely balanced. This was one of my favorite New Game!! episodes. Nice OP too. 5/5 |
| I loved this episode so much. One of my favorite parts of New Game is how much does Aoba appreciate Kou, being basically her role model and the motive why she wanted to be a character designer. Seeing her feeling like that in this episode (and Kou failing to control her emotions, hurting Aoba in the process, and herself for that reaction) was really touching. Thankfully things ended well and they are more close than ever after working together for the final design, I'm so happy for them. |

| That was a bitch move by Aoba, keeps distracting and being insensitive towards Ko knowing all Ko's design were rejected she still wanted Ko to baby and spoiled her, wanting Ko to baby her as always. She deserves that scolding, spoiled brat |

| Nice episodes. The girls are slowly maturing in their own ways, though maybe not Hajime all too much lul Nice to see the tension between Kou and Aoba resolved quickly. Dat ED though, man. I love Now Loading more, but this one was absolutely adorable. |

| Nice opening and ending again. Absorb the monsters and animals in the dungeon to and gain their special ability's, so the character is basically Kirby. Very happy that Aoba & Kou were able to work together at the end there to create that new design. Pretty funny though it was based on her bear sleeping bag. |

| A little heavier on the feels but I do not mind. It was a good episode. I'm glad they did not drag out the drama cross episodes to the next. Part of me would have liked to see more of the entries to the competition. |
| The feels were intense. I wanted to hug both Kou & Aoba, as I understand how both of them felt :( Episodes like this, I'll fully embrace. It's nice that it's not all just kawaii fluff. Need a bit of drama too! |
| So much drama for a game development anime, while in Ubisoft, no one wants to take lead character designer cause it just means more unpaid overtime 😂 |

| 4/5- Came for the laughs, had some feels and ended with hope. This series is so great. Aoba's designs are both hilarious and interesting. "It looks like the character is the one being absorbed." Glad that Aoba and Kou were able to make up in the end. It was really depressing to see the Aoba tears from an usually happy girl and that hand clap in the end was a nice touch. I love the OP visuals and song a lot. Hifumi is more adorable in this OP than the last. The ED song is good but the video is kinda average for me. |

| Hooray for some actual conflict and development in this show; seriously, like I enjoy NG for what it is but there were times during the first season and the first ep of this season where I was like: So it's fanservice and yuri vibes with a moe artstyle? Great...missed opportunity alert. But thankfully it managed to pull a card showing how these characters do have their issues. Now if we can get some other episodes like this to develop the other characters in this season, I'd be really happy. |

| Most serious episode so far in the series... but Aoba was quite cute the whole time. The ED song is almost the same as the OP song, but I think I like the ED a bit more. |

| Let's get to the point of the post I'm making, this episode is awesome and it does develop and leer us know more of the characters of Aoba and Kou, I feel like kou is more of a mother figure to aoba or an al-might to aoba(aoba being deku), once Aoba looked up to Kou as a figure who doesn't have any flaws and gets shit done fast, but when Kou gets angry at Aoba for continuously asking her for advice even though Yagami is at a low point in her life, Aoba learns that Yagami has flaws like any other person and is not all perfect in character design, and you may think that that's unnecessary but when you look at the episode more you realize that Kou never felt rejection of her ideas, and when she gets confronted from this feelings by Shizuku rejecting all of her designs and tells her to improve, Yagami doesn't know how to act and tries to block the anger from being released when aoba tries to talk to her, but later couldn't and the situation we got is Revealed, but luckily the situation is fixed and Yagami realizes that she was a shit person to Aoba since Aoba is openly inspired by Yagami and Yagami tries to cheer up Aoba by helping her out on her design, this works because since Yagami got jealous at Aoba for character design, she doesn't want Aoba to fail at the design, she wants her to succeed since that's Aoba's main goal and if Yagami ignores Aoba, it would feel horrible to Aoba because she looks up to Yagami as an inspiration and a hero and thats why this episode is fucking amazing Also Dandy = Jojo |

| Such a beautiful episode!...and a bit of drama between Aoba and Yagami. Yagami helped Aoba with her design and the outcome was a success and very cute to boot! Hazuki's sleep deprivation always happen to me, so many shows...so little time management and I always end-up always lack of sleep! 4/5. |
