I'm hoping it will be a two cour again. There's plenty of source material.

I would hope at least 24/25, would be a little annoying if it's 12/13

More than enough for 2 cours. They even have the Vampires of Edinburgh side story to adapt.
Even if it's only 1 cour, this season will be very fun and way better than season 1 in terms of the content itself. I hope A1 doesn't mess it up.

Probably 2 cour, but you never know with anime nowadays. It’s up to the main producer MBS (and maybe Netflix) to set the count.

Just like many of these battle shounen series, the more I read them, the more I lose interest in them... To be honest, this manga has been on the decline for me for sometime now. The only reason I keep reading it it’s because I like the characters (main cast).

I really enjoyed the 1st season, so I hope this one is as enjoyable as the first one. So yea, I’m looking forward to this. Plus, I love the series's character designs, art-setting, and music score. I’m also interested to know more about the movie as well. I knew a sequel was happening, but a movie... I didn't see that coming.

Anyhow, one thing is for sure, Japan is pretty enthusiastic about these news looking at their social networks and whatnot. 1st season was pretty-well received over there, so no surprise.

The newest key poster looks dope, btw.

I would guess one cour since it will likely take MHA's timeslot and MHA 3 will likely premiere in Spring 2018. Also I wouldn't be surprised if the final Fairy Tail season premieres in Spring and A-1 might want to save some of their budget for that show. It is also getting a movie in Summer 2017, so it would make sense for there to be at least a three month break between the last episode and the movie.

Better have 24 episodes and 2 more OVAs just like the first season.
That's what it will take to satiate my need for more NNT.

First season of 24 had covered up 100 chapters. But the second one is a movie i suppose. Please alter or don't spoil the story of the manga. Its too good.

Isn't season two likely to
as that seems like the best spot to finish. Likely 24 / 25 episodes

The movie will then more then likely cover the Holy war of 3000 years ago as well as the trials of Diane and King.

This is just how I see it going after how the first season went.

I think it will be 24 because they have enough source material to cover 24 episodes plus they have somethings that will have to lead up to the movie which is not part of the manga

I think it will be 2 cours covering up to Ch 196/197 and then the movie will cover from Ch 197/198 to Ch 218. There will be a 3rd season covering the rest of the series.

Damn you bro, you almost nailed it. If this happens it better be split cour. or I'll split you up.
Unless BnHA airs at 17:30 again. What's the release date of Fairy Tail anyway? I might catch up this month with the manga and anime.

The timeslot that season one aired in no longer exists, and MHA’s new timeslot is not the same as The Seven Deadly Sins new timeslot.
