| THIS IS AN ANIME ONLY DISCUSSION POST. DO NOT DISCUSS THE MANGA BEYOND THIS EPISODE. ---------------------------------------- This episode was kinda sad...especially after with that background story of the kid. I really like that Spirit Beast (Akane) introduced this episode though. She looks tough but is a kind character. Once again, Inaba tries to make a difference through his words. |

| This episode was quite sad, especially the backstory for Kuri and Shiro. His mother is terrible for abandoning him. I like Akane. She cared for him. Inaba tried to talk sense to Kuri's mother, but it didn't work. She's not human anymore. He cried himself to self. It was amusing seeing Akira carrying him. |

| I knew where this was going as soon as i saw the bit where he said he couldn't cry for his parents' death. Was quite sad at the end but he finally let it all out. Kuri and Shiro's story got him to open up. What a fucked up mother for abandoning him. Shiro died protecting him as well. I still couldn't watch his mom get repelled like that on this night, i'd like to think that she just wanted to see his son to apologize for all she did. |
| Kuri and Shiro backstory was truly sad. It was funny how everyone decided to hold a party. That antique guy was nice giving Inaba that item. I was surprised that all of them were able to read Inaba and what he felt. |

| This episode made me teary eyed. What happened to Kuri and Shiro was just sad and wrong. I hope this is a 24 episode series. I love this anime. |

| Nice episode, although quite dark & sad. What Kuri & Shiro went through is so tragic. Akane such a great mum. Kuri's mum is so scary. Glad she didn't get through the barrier. LOL everyone having a party while they watch her try to get through. Yuushi letting it all out. Glad he was able to cry for his parents. |

| dear lord that was incredibly dark. Didn't expect that. Talk about things escalating quickly... There's a lot more to this show than meets the eye, it seems. Poor Kuri and Shiro. What a horrible mother. On the other hand, wolf mama is wonderful. |
| I won't lie. I cried this episode. Kuri and Shiro's backstory was tragic :( Sad that even his mother lost all her senses and is chasing poor boy even after the death. I was kinda hoping that MC would step in and absorb all her negativity just like the previous episode *sigh* But at last, the guy finally let it all out and cried for his parents. |

| Kuri and Shiro are precious and I also likes that there's no real happy ending here. The mother tortured and killed her son and she's being punished for it. She can apologize, but that won't change the fact that they're dead. At least Kuri and Shiro have Akane. Hmm, I'm behind on the manga but I don't remember a romance. There's a pretty awesome bromance with Hase though. If I remember correctly (it's been awhile since I've read this) it's more about Inaba's growth more than anything. |

| Damn dude this episode was fucking deep. Like for one it showed the love and connection between a man and his dog, even if that man was a child. Dude Shiro Ripped the mothers throat out...Holy shit. Then the connection between a Mother, and in Yuushis case, a family and their child. Was really well done. I'm glad Akine was there to support him |

| I didn't know what to expect from this anime when I first started watching it, but seeing how interesting the last episode was, as well as this one, I can say I like the way the story is developing. Poor Kuri and Shiro :'( at least now they are staying at a place where people really care about them. |

| Wow. Just wow. At first (two first episodes) i was like: "Oh God the kid and the Dog are like the cutest things ever. So much love" After this episode: "Oh my God why? Poor creatures, life is so unfair, sad, i hate people" No, seriously, this was heartbreaking, heartwarming, sad, tragic, i was like left without hope but then regained it. And the sort of sake party while waiting for the mom? LOL. I mean, LOL. What's up with them hahahah this is great. Such a balance between feelings and laughs. Waiting for the next one!! |

| Wow, Kuri and Shiro's story really broke my heart, but it's sweet to know that everyone in the apartment care enough about them to feel their pain and try to protect the two. It's too bad about the mother, but is still bittersweet. I'm starting to like everyone in the apartment even more now too after this episode :) |

| Darn, I don't even know why I'm sympathizing with Kuri's real mother, I hate parents who just go ahead and have kids but can't take responsibility for it afterwards but for some reason I was actually hoping that she could be saved too. It's most probably her desperation and strong hate that I could find relatable. Somewhere in her I could see myself bitter and desperate for revenge but incapable of doing anything. |

| I cried at this episode Yushi-kun was scared when he saw the face of the wolf Akane but he realized that the real scary one is the human Kuri's mother. 'looks can be deceiving' |
