Which chapter of the manga does the anime end with?

I'm a bit confused. I started watching the anime after getting impatient with the manga, and I'm grateful because of my decision because I now ADORE skip Beat. The only problem was the abrupt ending...
I want to continue with the plot via the manga, but I'm not sure where I should start. What chapter does the anime finish with? Or is the ending so extremely different from the manga that I wouldn't be able to continue?

Please help me! I want more Skip Beat T_T

Please answer! I want to know so I can continue with Skip Beat. I tried to find it on my own but got lost again :/
Every lost moment is another second that a poor innocent fangirl is kept away from her ship. Please, think of the fangirls. :P

Around chapter 71 should be where the anime left off. I recommend reading from the beginning because the manga presents the story in more entertaining way.

I know. God, I KNOW... A day doesn't go by without me wishing it.
The truth is, none of my otaku friends have ever heard of the anime. Heck, I just happened to stumble upon it while looking up voice-actors on wiki, I wouldn't have known otherwise.
It's so good though T_T It's probably not appreciated because of the CRAP ending (so there should be another season, right? Right?!?)

Actually, the anime ends right in the middle of chapter 68, Volume 12.
