I'm not sure about that. You could correct if I'm wrong, but:

1. This is the director 2nd series only after The Idolmaster. So, that's not really all-star.

2. The assistant director most notable work was a staff in The Idolmaster production. Again, not really an all-star.

3. One of the two writers notable work as a writer was, again, for The Idolmaster. And the other writer is known for writing VN, but as a scriptwriter his works are not that great(Robotics;Notes with its messy writing in the 2nd half & Plastic Memories with jarring tone and also shaky script just after few episodes in). So, not really all-star.

So, while I can see why you're excited about this anime, calling the staff "all-star" is kind of overstatement. Just to be clear, I am not saying this anime will be bad, it's just the main staff are not the most prolific based on their previous works.
What I'm sure of is the action scenes will be bombastic(considering the action director) & the animation and art style will be executed well(considering the studios behind this are A-1 Pictures Trigger).

I would guess Winter 2018, since A-1 often has two-three shows a season, since they are a freelance studio. For Winter 2018 they have The Seven Deadly Sins: Revival of the Commandments and Record of Grancrest War. I also believe this because of the three shows Trigger announced at Anime Expo, this was the only one with a PV. Little Witch Academia finished airing in June, meaning if it is in January, that is six months to get prepared for a Winter 2018 launch. Since it is a co-production, they also won't be animating the whole show, and it might get out faster since two companies are animating it.

Lol, I've already heard Sawano's work in AoT S2. I almost have his entire discography! But myself and many from the Sawano Hiroyuki Discord Fan Server think it may not be him. I think it could be more than my friends, but even my HUGE Sawano fan friend thinks it sounds nothing like him. The similarities at the beginning and end are just a sample that anyone could have used. But Sawano is still my second guess. Someone from Legendoor is my first guess.

Getting some Evangelion feels from the those graphics.

There were some interesting drawings in the background, what resembled nerves/axons, probably some human experimentation themes. Should be an interesting series.

Bastards, they let me dried without mecha anime. Last two seasons are fulfilled mostly bad anime, bad, bad! Majestic Prince or Valvrave level nice quality mecha anime I need to devour. Hopefully this mecha anime can fulfill my desire. Big guns, big explosions!
