High School D x D's god awful dub

Started watching this anime again because thehonesthief (something doesn't seem right with his name) said the second season is much betger in his review. Is it just me or is the dub bad, really bad. It's like the guys behind it try to Amercanize the script but failed miserably. The guy is on the ground, bleeding out and says these really corny line "if i was going to die, why couldn't it be from motorboating those funbags". Who the hell talks like that? Seems like a sterotype personality and a really corny one too. This dub has apparently won awards. People bought into this? Am I just not seeing the quality?

I found the sub to be worse for reason I can't be bothered trying to remember but each to their own.

I like the dub. The voices match in a 50/50 way and for the first ep, it was pretty good filler for the beginning.

I go where I wanna go, even if its into Oppai.

I did'n read your entire post , but i agree ..

Dub does not have that lust LOL

Issei sound more perverted in sub than , dub that adds up to more humor in sub .
