| What do you think of the anime Hakuoki? Is it just me or it is really boring to watch? Even it has 20 plus episodes, I find it hard to see the character development at all. And also, the love that blooms between Hijikata and Chizuru is quite unexpected since they really don't show any love or interest at all until the last episodes. Or I really just don't understand the story? |

| I am a pretty big fan of the Hakuouki franchise. And as a fan I'll say one thing the anime is shit. It butchers the greatness the game showed and the character designs are just bad. It follows Hijikata's route from the game as it is the main one and the longest but they try to cram too much in from the game that everything seems rushed. If you want to get into Hakuouki play the game. It's in english for 4 consoles (PSP, PS3, 3DS, PS vita) so just play the game and forget the anime. |

Thank you for the information ^_^ I thought it really is an anime. So it's a game after all. Yeah. I'll agree with you. The anime seems a bit rush. Since I really can't find character development. And also, how in the earth, did hijikata and chizuru develop love with each other. Since there's no scene or something which has do to with it :3 Thank you. I'll try playing the game for me to know the real Hakuoki. It's a waste since I expected it really is good :3 |
