| THIS IS AN ANIME ONLY DISCUSSION POST. DO NOT DISCUSS THE MANGA BEYOND THIS EPISODE. ---------------------------------------- First episode came out on Crunchyroll today. It was cute I guess? Lion and Belle stands out somewhat so far with their personality although a bit childish in some ways. The academy they attend is pretty much what you'll expect. Visually, I think the show is an improvement compared to the previous Hina Logi series. Yayoi stands out the most imo so far with her personality, status, and look. Not impressed by the action yet I really hope that improves... |

I was particularly amused at how fast Nina and Yayoi's two friends ducked when Mahiro's gadget started to malfunction, while Yayoi herself was to focused on scolding Mahiro to do so herself :D (hopefully I got their names correct) |

| I haven't seen the original series, and seeing a Summer season premiere took me by surprise, so I watched it. The characters are cute and generally likable at first glance and the artwork is colorful and quite pleasing. The setup has potential with the schoolchildren learning how to partner with entities from different worlds/dimensions(?) in order to gain magical girl status. Lion is apparently unable to fully control hers as she goes into her "trance" as her alter-ego. Nothing especially groundbreaking, but definitely enough here to make me tune in for next episode. 4/5 |

Speaking of Magical School anime, maybe it's time I gave Akashic Records another chance, I hated the first episode of that one and dropped it hard. How did you like that one? |

| Has a few moments but kinda terrible. Supposed to be moe but then has multiple loli bath/shower scenes and random slapstick like exploding equipment which is out of place. Voice acting is bad. However it set up a lot of good hooks. One more week, see how it goes, but I'm not expecting much. |

Well, Fantasy is in my second to last genre hole. But that isn't to say I don't like some of them sometimes. For me, when she banged her head on the desk I was like... geez stop. And then when she transformed and was evil and then they were like "nobody transformed with a blank card before." <--- but honestly this isn't some intensely worrying thing for some reason to the world? And I was like... As much as I like Shinji and you know him being TORTURED in a robot which he synced to quickly... :/ ummm totally not the same level of chosen one trope going on in this anime. I think I have "levels" of chosen one I can handle. Like how much chosen one is this girl right now? It is kinda mounting for me. Once again, maybe if there was a sense of urgency in this anime like say Eva because of such an incident or even the sort of urgency Sailor Moon might give- yeeeah.... I did like the other girl I guess... I donno. I would really like for once main character to be kinda more on the... not stupid side of things when it comes to magical girls because there has been so many of them (see: Madoka Majika, Sailor Moon, Princess Tutu, Cutie Honey) I mean the main is kinda... 100% less likeable than those other characters too. :/ Can the best friend pretty please be the main character? Maybe they shoved way too much stuff into episode 1? But maybe they just did everything badly... and the story would be more interesting with the best friend as the main character. But... the fox is pretty adorable. |

| An ok start to this series. A bit hard to tell how it's going to compare to the original L & L. Looks like it might be heading in the direction of being a much more fun series. Lion's partner looks like a mischievous one judging from what happened and her brief appearance. Nina is pretty cool. This is also getting a set in Weiss Schwarz. L & L does have its own game but I haven't played it yet. |

| This spin-off at the same timeline? because Chloe & Nanahoshi(both from Luck&Logic) was talking in the radio talk show at the start. I'm amaze that Nina partnered with Cupid Amor. |

| It's really fun to start, after seeing the Lion, and its sweetness, it's a little tough to give a negative opinion about this episode, even though there are too many cariners in the narration. The plot though little, has moved its first steps, is positive this circumstance. |

| mahou shoujo, some mysterious probably antagonistic beast included, and standard SOL girls. With two or three deaths + much tidier story composition + much more natural dialogues, maybe it can save itself. |

| So fucking mediocre. Not that cute or sexy, either. Other shows have much better characters. You can tell it's a 30-minute commercial. It's well-animated enough, I'll make some gifs of it and get some notes on Tumblr. |

| This seems like it might be okay, but honestly it's too early to judge from just one episode. I thought the original Luck and Logic was okay, despite numerous issues, so I'll probably enjoy this to some extent. |

| Oh boy, hope I didn't need to watch Luck & Logic to watch this HAHAHAHA. Was hesitant on giving this a shot since I know nothing of the original series, plus it got scored in the 6s. And now that I have watched this, I can safely say... This is freaking adorable and I quite like the character designs and expressions, but I can see why it ain't scored high atm. |

| I begin watching not expecting anything (i dont get the synopsis) Apparently i watched cause of the studio (Doga Kobo produce Plastic Memories right?) and the colorful (most colorful this season?) palettes And it was okay, fun, and cute What i like is that Lions alter ego, i like when cute girls turn into something like that, giving some different aura. But i cant say i like the transformation though, but i guess its okay |

| It was a decent first episode, not terribly impressed, but I'm not going to drop it right away. I think the characters are all cute (especially Yayoi, desu WA!). Lion's reactions are a bit weird and forced sometimes, like her screaming after the Belle Breast invasion that then caused her to trance. Or violently grabbing her mouth and making a choking sound when Nina was quietly like "ssh" in the baths. Chill, girl lol. The art is alright. I really liked Nina's transformation, kind of reminded me of Vividred mixed with a less-awesome Heartcatch Precure (But HC Precure transform was sick, so not necessarily a bad thing). Music is nothing spectacular. Story seems a bit stale, but that's obviously subject to change. Giving it a couple more episodes to see how it goes. I was told there would be shoujo ai of some sort, so that's what I'm here for, but if the characters don't interest me in a bit it's not gonna be worth it. |

| Yes! Doga Kobo did that again. This was so adorable and much better than I expected. This is like a moe version of Little Witch Academia. Lion, Nina and Bella are so cute. :3 The school itself and the whole environment are also very beautiful. |

| Re-watching this cute show. I can't remember most of the details anymore, so I want to refresh my memory. I really like that whole place. Everything there looks absolutely beautiful. Nina, Lion and Belle are so adorable. I love those trance outfits. And I love Lion's airhead personality. She's a pure deredere. Tired Belle was so cute. :3 "Nina-chan, I love you!" Aww... <3 It was a hilarious moment when they fell off the bridge. x3 Mahiro is a funny girl with all her random gizmos and gadgets, haha. |
