| In a hypothetical world where it got an anime during the early 2000s, they'd probably just go with Toei really, or maybe Sunrise. But I'd wish they didn't keep Cho as Takeshi's voice actor. I'd prefer if they replaced him for a woman, maybe Ikue Otani. |

| I said Sunrise simply because of how they handled the Gintama adaptation, seeing how they're kind of similar. I think a childish voice would suit Takeshi better, even if just to break people's expectations. I've read up to the Mami Family arc, which is where things really start to pick up plotwise, but now I'm re-reading it. |
