| Huh, gotta admit, I'm a bit surprised by how mediocre this short series was. Like, I've had this title recommended SO SO MANY TIMES by BL lovers, and while it's enjoyable, it also seems like something I'll forget about within a day or two. Main characters were cute, but that's all, there was nothing more to their personalities, or to their relationships with other people... we didn't even get to see Seryou's older brother, or his take on Shino being a terrible girlfriend lol, and that was supposedly a major point of Seryou's background storyline. The artstyle doesn't help, I don't wanna say it's bad, but it's average at best. Takarai's later works are way better looking than this, thankfully. Guess I liked the overall feel of SD, and the setting on its own was so intriguing, it could be turned into something really good... sadly it ended up feeling mostly flat. 6.5/10 |
