So I read in TVTropes that the animation director planned to use BOTH Gran and Djeeta as co-protagonists, but Cygames pushed for a "boy meets girl' scenario.

Can anybody confirm this? And if it's true.......Wow.......Damn.......the possibilities. Damn it Cygames!
