I do not "sacrifice" hanging out with friends. Friends have never been a meaningful part of my life from the beginning. When I was in kindergarten, I already wanted to read books and stay the fuck away from other kids. It's just that now I'm watching anime instead of reading books. I try to prevent anime from getting in the way of my job, but I still have times where I go to sleep to late, or end up too distraught by the recent episode to work productively. I think such accidents are an acceptable price to pay for mental stability. (not flipping out and murdering people is a major concern in my life, and this seems to depend on the amount of stress I have heavily) Overall, I feel I have too much hobbies to properly enjoy them all, and I should downsize some. But they aren't letting me go. |
